Now lets see how he repays this with a new tax that is in the making under a new state law that recently went into effect.

Actually it was a 1 year extension and a five percent raise.

Sounds like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Is it for a weight control program for MR.RICE?

Not yet, most school admin. activities are kept "under wraps" until Rice feels like making an announcement. He is VERY proprietory!

I would like to know why Trinity has 2 superintendents. Do we really need 2?

One of them covers curriculum and title programs and the other deals mainly with administration and budgetary issues.

I have the same question as to actual NEED, that seems way too EXCESSIVE for such a SMALL district. IF ONE can't handle it with a PhD, then perhaps we need to begin a new "search" for someone with more multitaskability.

WHY hasn't there been any mention on getting the TISD into the SHSU program from Seniors?

We have allways had one superintendent. I just do not understand why we all of a sudden need 2. I guess the school district has too much money on hand.

Definately sounds OVER-blown and inflated for such a small district.

Does anyone attend the school-board meetings?

We have an Assistant superintendent and we have had one for over 5 years, This is the 3rd one that I recall. Rice was one under Dr. Moore; they may not have called it that but basically that seems to be what he did.

Dr. Rice's physical size is not the issue but whether the size of his salary is equivalent to his value to the district. His salary goes up and our elementery test scores go down. Maybe if the Board would spread the money around among the teachers instead of the administrators we'd see some improvement. If Rice would listen to the teachers' recomendations he wouldn't have to spend our money on outsiders who tell him the same thing.

Yep - actually, he's on Weight Watchers - but I think that the only weight he's watching is his wife getting bigger.

Dr. Rice should be out of a job and his useless wife too. When will Trinity get tired of paying these people a combined income of over $150,000 -- FOR NOTHING !!! His wife spends her days making personal phone calls, wrapping gifts for her children's teachers, and printing pictures for her personal use - and he spends his days taking 2 hour lunches with people around town and driving around in his jeep cruising the parking lots and talking on his cell phone.

IS THIS WHAT PEOPLE PAY FOR???
