Beware of the yard sale on Hwy 19 in town . I was there today picked out a vase markes .50 . When I went to pay for it I was told the prices on the merchandise wern't the actual prices . I asked what the price for the VASE was . I was told it was $5.00. I informed him that he couldn't put one price on it and charge another that wasn't legal . I was told to leave if I didn't like the way they ran their business and not come back. I was more than happy to leave and will be more than happy to turn them in . I don't mind paying the price on an item and not one to try and get anyone to lower their price . But come on 10 times more than the marked price. I'm not sure but I don't think the young man that waited on me was the owner. He told me the things were priced when they recieved them . I informed him just what kind of trouble he could get into if he didn't sale his things as they were priced. We do not need a permanent garage sale in town . If they want to open a business rent a building .

True it can get pretty trashed. The Jung yard on 19 just north is so bad. Wish some would them out cleaning bit up. Dipole is so nice. Clean and landscape is nice. It is driving to Lufkin.

I noticed the junk yard north of town on 19 is looking better . Atleast you can see the front door seems someone is cleaning up a tiny bit .

Can you have a permanent garage sale in the city limits? Who is selling all of this stuff/junk?

I don't know but it looks pretty bad . Most people open a store when they have that much stuff to sell. I didn't know one could just start a business in their yard in the city .Maybe we all should just open up and start selling in our yards to hell with what it looks like . Pay no rent / no utilities /no insurance /no over head sounds like a plan to me .
