Well, I hear that it is official. The State School is going to close, and I dont think people understand the severity of that decision. This has been a pinnacle employer for this county, and the sudden closure in August will be a major blow to this already struggling economy. Honestly it scares me, as a local business owner here in Houston County, I am sincerely concerned about the financial ramifications upon our county, as well as the socio-economic impact that we will experience. I am preparing for the worst, and making plans to relocate to another more lucrative part of the state.

I understand cuts have to be made because of economical situations brought on by Goverment stupity, but why our community where times are hard enought? I know our local officials are not the brightest in the universe, but why should the politicians who represent us take it out on us? Oh! I forgot, the majority of the voters who elected them live in the bigger populated areas. They get the gold, we get the shaft! Times are a- changing. We are being re-districted out of existance.

Yes, redistricting and the end of Tim Turner will hurt us forever. Now remember, Tim was a democrat, if you want to see this stupid slashing stop....return to your roots. Vote out the idiots that pretend to be fiscal conservatives!
