I pay for 3.0 mbps of internet speed and for the past two months getting less than 1.0. 5 calls to tech support has finally netted a admission that their server can not handle the amount of traffic for this area and that many residence here are also having slow service! I'd like to confirm this is true. Are you feeling the pain also? My speed this AM was at .18 which is slower than the old AOL dial up. Can't download, play a video or view large files. And guess what, NO effort on Windstream's part to refund or lower the cost.

Never had any luck with customer service. Ask for service call and see if tech will give number. What's crazier is how much better speeds you can get in Lovelady!!

Ive only had windstream for a week but every night around 9pm my internet gets super slow and cuts in and out. Im calling everynight and suppose to have someone come out tomorrow... we will see

Windstream has poor customer service for my phone service so I'm not surprised that you are having problems with internet service. I use Suddenlink (high speed internet) and have always had great service with them.

Thanks for your comments. My internet service remains very poor and not a word from windstream as to the problem or when they will have it fixed. Do you know what speed you get with suddenlink Jane D?

I wish I had Windstream. I have Wildblue thru Dish Network. It takes me an hour to do the same thing that takes 20 minutes on my friends Windstream service in town. Same laptop, both on wifi...just different providers.

After speaking with a supervisor on a few occasions my internet is fixed!

I call every week since januray of this year and still haven't figured it out why the living hell running super slow after 3pm for me...till midnight or till next morning.
Then it gets better after 7am till 3pm..
Starts over again.
Can't do anything with it!!!
It sucks!!

Duh !!!...Just simple supply and demand

We all have Netflix, ROKU, HULU, HBO GO, U-Tube, Pandora, sometimes 3 or 4 streaming videos in a single household, plus facebook in the backgroung.

There is simply not enough bandwidth to go around

If we all choose to fill our swimming pools tonight, we won't be able to take showers.

DANG IT !
