Sutter members rally in support of SEIU-UHW
#1 Feb 19, 2010
This article is completely falacious
The National Union of Healthcare Workers was forced to break from the SEIU after international president Andy Stern put the UHW local under "trusteeship", stripping its democratically elected leadership of power in an effort to force an unpopular merger with another local. The NUHW recently WON a vote at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in which the vote was 283 for NUHW, 263 for No Union, 13 for SEIU, with 17 challenged ballots. It is sad that Vallejo has no trustworthy news source for important stories about organized labor.

This article seems completely one-sided. Did you contact the NUHW people to get their response? If not, why not?

Why? Because you say so?
