The citizens of Crewe need to stand up and be heard. It will be to late after your get your bill in January. They are hiking the water bill from $65.00 minimum to $80.00+. The excuse is the same as with the last hike, we are not paying enough for the town to get a grant. What is wrong with this town government? Are they trying to chase everybody out of town? Do they not want new business and people moving in? It sure looks and feels like it.

This is to fix the sewer pipes under ground like all of them are from 1930 I think they need to be fixed. Any town meeting is open to all every month. I went and it was Fun for real. We live in america and you can talk about it any time you would like. Go to the next town meeting and voice your opinion. See you there.

I realize the concern but Crewe is raising the Sewer bill not the water bill. At some point this might come into effect on the water bill but not yet.

Why and for what do we pay taxes? Look around you. The Sewer system, the water, the streets, the legal bills, the christmas bonuses that the Crewe Council voted to double this year and at the same time asking the citizens of Crewe to come up with extra $$$$ for the yes TOTAL Water bill. Please give us a break.

It pains me to see how self distructive this town government really is. Yes everyrhing needs to be fixed and yes it takes $$$ to do it. But please have a little sense. To double the Chrismas bonus for every employee at a time when the you are asking for even more from your citizens is absolutely and downright shamefull.

Well they did it! I don't care if it was Sewer, Water or Garbage, it all shows on my Waterbill. No they didn't want to vote on it BEFORE they doubled the X-Mas Bonus, that would have been a little to obvious. I am looking for a house in the country with a well and septic.

So how do you people of this commonwealth feel about the idea of Fort Monroe being transformed into a national historic park and the U.S. Navy the army base's air-strip for carrier landing practices!?
