Debt Payoff? My fiance and I have about $50000 in combined debt. The debt consists of credit card debt, medical bills, and simial accounts. We currently live paycheck to paycheck. How can we go about paying off the debts? I have a spreadsheet that I have created listing the debts, interest rates, and what not. I am not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing that everything is between 3 and 4 years old and in collections. We would like to have the debt payed off before we get married and would like to be able to look into purchasing some property in the Spring of next year. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We do not want to have to turn to any kind fof debt consolidation, we would like to do it ourselves for so many reasons.
