The lack of demand for Hostess products is what cost those workers their jobs. That lack of demand is a result of non-union companies making cheaper junk food. The only difference now is some different rich Republican is raking in the profits while the working man has a lower standard of living. Like the American union worker who loses his job to non-union workers, go the American jobs to other countries. If, as Americans, we demanded that the products we buy are made in America, by union workers, we could effectively save this country ourselves. Corporate greed is destroying the American dream.

One reason the Military Services have trouble operating jointly is that they don't speak the same language. For example, if you told Navy personnel to "secure a building," they would turn off the lights and lock the doors. The Army would occupy the building so no one could enter. Marines would assault the building, capture it, and defend it with suppressive fire and close combat. The Air Force, on the other hand, would take out a three-year lease with an option to buy.
