knowing our police,,they probably heard the transformer blow and thought it was a gun shot!!! Or they was bored of not being reconized that they had to stir something up!! PATHETIC!!!! Not at all well played out from the very beginning!!!!hell even if there was a shooting 6hrs later they decide to go in ???? someone could have been injured and seriously needed medical attention and died waiting for the so called brave law enforcement to come rescue them!!!!

Update: Breathitt County Stand-Off Over

Breaking: LEX 18 has learned that the stand-off in Breathitt County is now over. The man inside told police he was asleep that's why he didn't answer the door and police are questioning him now.

Police are not sure if charges will be filed or not.

Neighbors say they heard shots fired but police are not able to confirm that at this time.

LEX 18 has a crew on the scene. We will have more information as soon as it's available.
