Does anyone know about the Crestwood cop chase and crash on Cicero this morning? The news says that a lot of people were badly hurt.

That Mercedes was smashed. For that to happen to a car like that the speed must have been really high. I don't know if they were parked in a firelane. I didn't hear anything about it being a police chase either.

Ohh I know they are cutting a deal, B.S. now Indy is trying to be important to a conversation and he thinks he can be funny, but the truth is someone died in that accident. This person had someone who loved them and you mock with your childish games. Your comments just prove what a pud you really are. Your worse than this administration at least we know who and what they are, your a snake and a pussy.

From staff reports
A Country Club Hills man was killed in an early-morning crash that closed Cicero Avenue in Crestwood for more than four hours, authorities said.

The man's name was withheld pending family notification. Crestwood police have not released any information about the multi-car crash about 5 a.m. on Cicero at Calumet-Sag Road.

Northbound Cicero Avenue is likely to reopen to traffic about 10 a.m., according to WBBM-AM traffic reports.

It was a guy from Country Club Hills who robbed a gas station & was trying to make a run for it,& he was the one who died!
Thank goodness he did not take any innocent people going to work, like my husband who travels that road every morning at that time. It was not a pretty thing to see, I seen 2 of the cars involved, hell of a way for someone to start off the day. Crestwood Police were not the ones chasing, it just happened to end up in the Village of Crestwood

If you see him driving up and down Cicero and back on TV telling his sad story how his kids saw a tear then yes it was a parking in a fire lane.

An innocent man is dead because some thug decided to run from the police after he robbed as gas station. This guy better get charged with murder.

How come it took the cops so long to say what happened? Were they trying to cover something up?

By any chance, do you know if he robbed the Shell at 167th and Cicero? I heard about an Armed Robbery at the Shell at about the same time or a few minutes before the crash.

I think the Crestwood Police are covering up the fact that other municipalities were chasing this guy. If you kill someone in the commission of a felony you have committed murder. The driver should be charged with murder. The guy who was killed was a hardworking man, the father of 7 kids. He deserves justice. Open up with the truth and charge the offending driver with murder.
