Just curious what the supporters of JC and JS are thinking now that both men have been found guilty?

I personally am shocked that the entire case wasn't thrown out of court! I didn't buy anyone's stories... not even then "victim". Each person involved in this case was inconsistent on their statements the entire way through. I am still on the fence about it and would have hated to be a juror.

Because of this verdict, I now have renewed faith in humanity!

Just because the victim couldn't remember what drinks these two were drinking that night doesn't in any way make her story questionable. They changed their stories over and over... and over again. Even on the witness stand they couldn't seem to remember the correct version of events. The jury saw that. All the victim needs to know is that she was raped and that she had no where to turn for protection. So what if it took her a week to muster up the courage to do something. The fact is, she did do something. Some victims don't ever have that satisfaction. This woman is a hero and is to be commended.

I wonder how Tommy Hartsock and the other "homies who touted their innocence are feeling now. I hope that he is ashamed that he was named in the newspaper to have been right there with them fabricating smoke screens that the victim wasn't a desirable woman. Even if she wasn't "country club material" or "not a calendar girl" - rape is still rape.

Did anyone else notice how neither criminal while being handcuffed and lead away, despite the loud sobbing in the courtroom, looked toward his family members? That action in itself proved what heartless self-absorbed individuals they really are.

My heart goes out to the wives of ALL the men involved with these criminals. They certainly are well-versed in the Tammy Wynette mantra of "stand by your man". I wonder when all is said and done how many of them will wise up and kick their good old boy, homie men to the curb. My thoughts and prayers are with the wives of Johnny and Jamie and I hope when their children eventually find out what really happened to their fathers that they can find peace in their own lifes and go on to be successful human beings despite the tragedy of their childhood.

I like HUMANITYs blog, and agree, I guess 12 people heard what they needed- to convict. No one wins here, its so sad, but again in 2009, why do people even think they can have sex ( let alone rape) ANYTIME--- behind some bar in anytown USA,! It seems someday the message will be heard, and I'm sure ONCE again alcohol played a major role in this sad story. Listen up folks, think twice about bars at 2 a.m, think of your family and children. stay home!!

Better yet, how does Jamie have the nerve to refer to the victim as 'not calender girl material?' I guess he hasn't looked in the mirror lately???

crestonres....no evidence?? That's the funniest thing I've heard yet. The evidence came directly from the TWO RAPISTS!! Didn't you watch the video-taped interviews from the DCI? Didn't you see Johnny boy start sweating when the investigator talked about a DNA test? BTW....the TWO RAPISTS didn't submit to a DNA test did they?? Nope...they sure didn't.

The supporters of the TWO RAPISTS seem to be small in numbers today following the verdicts last night.
