As a community that endured the shame of what these top ranking law officers did, another trial would bring all the emotions back. Everyone has suffered enought. I see notning that can be gained, as the same evidence would be presented and both officers hung themselves with thier own words.
They were vetern officers of the law and yet looked like the dumbest two any community could have representing law enforcement.
I believe most of the community has moved on and want that chapter of Creston History filed away forever.
The reckless behavior cost them thier freedom, but they made the choices and now have to pay. It is time to move on....

Some will move on..... Some await the return of their loved one! If it were your loved one or friend would you just drop it and move on? If you felt they were innocent? Some bad choices made? yes... but paying for 25 years, insane! But yes for most, move on.

Rape is more than making a bad choice.
Your reference suggests that they did not deserve 25 years.
What do you think the punishment should be for RAPE?
Really, are you serious?

I see it as a he said she said....... SO?? I think that there are many who deserve a lot of time and walk in 2 years or less. Minimum Manditory for these 2 I think is rediculous!!! That is my view wether you like it or not. So yes...REALLY? I am serious!

I have to agree whole-heartedly with "really"! There are all kinds of examples where people manufacture meth, steal, assault people and readily admit it, and they are constantly set free with probation (maybe), then walk around and brag about it. In this he said/she said, no proof sort of case, 25 years? I don't see how that is fair or just at all, and I don't how anyone could possibly think it is. You may not like these guys, and you may not agree with their actions, but I don't know how you can possibly say this is a sentence that fits the "crime".
