Arizona will go before the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday 4/25/12
to defend its immigration law, Senate Bill 1070, in a case that will determine the future of immigration enforcement NATIONWIDE !
SB 1070, among other things, made it a state crime to be in the country illegally and stated that an officer engaged in a lawful stop, detention or arrest MUST , when practicable, ask about a person's legal status when reasonable suspicion exists that the person is in the U.S. illegally. A ruling by the Court likely won't come until this summer.(REF. The Arizona Republic)
