Looks like now they all want Ipad's. this will be brought up in a work session in the next few months.
What is the reason? to save on printing costs.
John V doesn't know how to use a commputtter, Scott lets his wife do all the emailing kinda of stuff.

Saving paper is a great idea, but it shouldn't be done so that the rights of any council member is taken away. They all have a right to see this information before voting on it. You don't have to be computer wise to be elected.
In my view, the proper thing to do is to ask the council, which members would like the information sent to their e-mail address and just e-mail it to the members that want that done. It is then up to those members to view the information on their own personal computer or their own personal I-pad if they have one.
Ask the rest on the members who would be able to come into the office to read the information and who would still need papers copies. It is the clerks job to get the information to the members
saving paper is secondary. You can't force someone to use a computer, not even an elected member of the council.
