Why don't they lease or buy the old Eagle food store in crest hill. It would be cheaper than a new building.

Hello Daily Factchecker!
Actually we have tried several times over the past few years to acquire that building and have been shot down every time. The current owner of the building plans to open a hispanic grocery store there and will not budge from his intention to do just that. I am very worried now that Scott has chimed in and refused to address the original issue. I had my doubts that it was a backdoor to building a new library without voter approval. However now that Scott has tried to brush it aside in order to respond to an issue that has been addressed numerous times in other threads as well as public forums, I think it is clear that something sinister is going on here.

what exactly is taking the owner of that building so long to open his store? that "el guero" rumor has been floated for years now......

it still doesn't change the fact that the city of crest hill is in dire need of a new library.

Could he be waiting for Amnesty for illegal aliens? 40 million more hispanics with good paying jobs and WIC vouchers to boot should make him alot more profits?
