Just a head's up on how these forums work -- post relevent, interesting, and helpful comments and questions. Those are appreciated by the users and the moderators. Those that don't and those that make personal attacks don't belong and get removed. A corollary to the previous rule is that above all, don't personally attack those people that can get your IP banned. You'll lose.
I'm George Zimmer, and I guarantee it.
Additionally, grammar is important. You should have said, "you're a snake!"

Oh not this $#!* again. Now I'm a scientist, not a lawyer, but from what I got out of that, Neal and the rest of the governing body of their Townhouse Association were trying to enforce the rules of said Townhouse Association on an African-American couple, who then got lawyer-happy and played the race card, and nothing has been determined, although it really doesn't sound bad for Neal.(Anyone care to refute or expound on that?)
"A Registered Voter", I'll grant that you have the right to dig up publically avaliable dirt on candidates you don't like (i.e., Nick doesn't like) but compared to what you did to Nick O., I mean come on, this is pretty weak. You can do better.

So I posted this behind you in another place on accident, but David you make some great points...(hopefully you're the same Daivd)
Great point David. I’d like to build on it and get up on my soapbox a bit.
First of all, from what I’m reading it appears to me he hasn’t done anything wrong. In the first sentence it says…
“This matter coming before the Chief Legal Counsel Designee upon Complainant’s Request for Review (“Request”) of the dismissal by the Department of Human Rights…”
So the Complainant (person complaining/accusing) is asking for something to be reviewed. What has to be reviewed you ask?? The DISMISSAL of the case by the Department of Human Rights! It’s just an appeal from someone that had their day and didn’t like what the judge had to say.
I find it highly coincidental that this gets posted on the same day that Mayor Churnovic was walking around Neal’s (and my) neighborhood and apparently had quite a few doors slammed in his face. I didn’t have the opportunity myself, but that’s the word around the neighborhood. It doesn’t surprise me at all that Neal’s opponents would resort to these despicable tactics.
I find it nearly as coincidental that the mayor’s website has been updated at nearly the same time these posts came out (I’ve been checking, I’ve been waiting for more pictures of camels)
As far as I’m concerned, it merely reinforces that Neal is way ahead in the race, and it’s merely a desperate attempt to drag him through the mud (now that it’s been above freezing long enough for some mud).

Let’s get a little perspective on this new “revelation.”
The CH means Chancery. Chancery cases are conflicts of law, like an argument over a contract. It appears, from what little information we have to read, that Sternisha’s homeowners association is being sued by tenants in the association. That doesn’t sound too odd.
It also looks like the homeowners association is winning in court because the case has been remanded by an arbitration judge to a higher reviewing body. Again, in an arbitration case, this isn’t unusual.
What it looks like here, in all fairness to Sternisha, is that he’s being sued because he’s involved with the association. It’s like an insurance case. If you’re in an auto accident, the money grubbing lawyer sues the owner of the car, the insurance company, the car’s manufacturer, the city who owns the streets, and probably God because he put everyone in the same place at the same time. So is Sternisha and the rest of his association team.
Sorry, I don’t see this as a smoking gun like the retail theft charge on Nick Onyszczak.

Doug: Yes, I'm the only David posting on the Crest Hill threads. And Mayor Nick was going door to door today? Interesting. I did see he updated his website (poorly, I might add). See my comment on the "Who should be Crest Hill's Mayor?" thread.
Courthouse Insider: I took business law back in High School but only some of it has stuck with me. Thanks for making this a lot clearer. Big help.

It has been brought to my attention that some of my political adversaries have decided to delve into a dirty, personal mudslinging contest regarding an administrative complaint that my homeowner’s association has been involved with over the past two years. The matter in question involves one homeowner filing a complaint against my townhome association of which I am the President. During the course of this matter, neither the homeowner’s association nor I have been found to have done anything improper. I’m not surprised at all to see this surface, was obviously aware of the matter prior to running for office, and did not feel I had anything to be concerned with. Despite this type of negative, personal attack on me, I will not lower myself to the same level and instead will continue to maintain the highest of ethical standards and conduct my campaign based upon the issues that are important to the City of Crest Hill. I will not comment on the matter any further as it is an internal matter amongst a private homeowner’s association and has no bearing on my campaign for Alderman.
When I filed my petition for Alderman on January 19th, 2009 I included with it an optional document that I signed known as the “Code of Fair Campaign Practices,” which is a set of guidelines of which to conduct oneself in an ethical manner. It is my understanding that my opponent to date has refused to sign this document and I challenge her to do so immediately and denounce these personal, negative attacks on my character. A copy of this code can be viewed on my website at:

Now we know who Brian's Picks are
and who Nick's Picks are.
All we need to know is who Neil's
and Ray's picks are.
Giving equal time would appear to follow the
ethical path boasted about in a previous post.

Given the ethical context of the society within which we all live, it is difficult to understand what the homeowners association is seeking to accomplish by their aleged banning children playing basketball. If Fox news is unable to get you to answer that question, I doubt, as you state, if you will answer it here. Perhaps someone could suggest that question for the candidates forum.

Sounds to me like Neal Sternisha has plenty of questions to answer to. I personally Invite Mr. Sternisha to join us on our TV station for an interview. Crest Hill's decision are relevant to it's aforementioned neighbor, Plainfield.
please email - firstname.lastname@example.org if you are up for an interview. I am sure there is a reaonable explanation to this alleged fair housing violation.
