The judicial system is to blame. This jerk should have lost his driving privileges a long time ago. Our court system and the people running it suck.

No Im one of his best friends. My prayers go out to the Benes family. Even if Michael didn't have a prior record you guys would be saying the same thing. Michael didn't go out looking for this. He's a kind fun loving human being who would never wish any harm on anyone. He was going to school to become a fireman. You guys are making him out to be a monster that he is not. Michael knew he did something wrong and took responsibility for it when he plead guilty. I know the Benes family lost a son and that Michael still gets to see the light of day. I know it's unfair, if it was my little brother who was is Kevin's place I would feel the same as most of you I would be crushed. I just want you guys to know that he is not the monster you make him out to be. Michael didn't go out looking for trouble that day, none of this was pre medditated. The Benes family has every right to be angry, justice is being taken as we speak. If you knew Michael personally and not just know his record, I think some of your comments might be different.

His arrest record speaks for itself. He needs help. Hope he gets while he is behind bars.

Mike was always a young idiot and drank way too much. Going to school to be something doesn't mean he was going to pass his classes or actually get a job as a iremsn. It was never going to happen. He is a monster and always will be. He didn't admit to it at the scene and wouldn't have done so in court until his mother and lawyer talked him into it. If he thought he even had a slim chance of fighting it and winnning it he would have. I know Mike also he was always a smart Azs trouble maker. His police record speaks for him. Maybe go ask some of the officers who have had to deal with him. Face it your butt buddy will be getting a new partner because he's a murder.
