I know several people who work hard and can't afford to buy a home without these programs. My mother being one of them. She has worked her butt of her whole life, without my dead beat fathers help and still didn't make enough money to own her own home until she received one of these wonderful grants. Why don't you do your research on who these grants go to and stop hating on people who are good tax paying citizens. They are not all low lives. You have to have a job to be able to qualify and to make your house payment. The Grant just helps them so their house payment is ridiculous and unaffordable.

Sounds familiar, like the BS that everyone was spouting prior to the collapse of the housing bubble and our economic downfall.
