After the election, no matter who wins, the state is going to have deal with at least a $1 billion shortfall in taxes - all accumulated during Corbett's term.
After Pennsylvanians start seeing the effects of the Corbett tax hikes-in-disguise, the dramatic increase in gasoline taxes, and the new $150 vehicle registrations starting in 2015, they'll know that any more money is coming from income taxes or a natural gas severance tax.
That money will come from somewhere, and there aren't too many stealth taxes the republicans can use anymore. It's either income taxes or severance taxes.
Strange situation, but if we want to not increase our income taxes, we have to vote democrat.

Chris Matthews Hits Obama For Treating Beheading As ‘Criminal Matter’[VIDEO]
08/21/201

Liberal MSNBC host Chris Matthews criticized the Obama administration for treating the brutal beheading of journalist James Foley as a “criminal matter,” noting that fighters from the Islamic State are “our geopolitical enemies” and that “the group itself is culpable.”

Matthews was responding to recent comments by Attorney General Eric Holder promising criminal justice for the individual who severed Foley’s head on-camera.

“I mean it’s so interesting, first of all the way that this administration addresses these issues, like they’re criminal matters,” he told Democratic California lawmaker Adam Schiff Thursday.“These people are our geopolitical enemies, ISIS.”

“How do you go around and find the person who put the knife to the guy’s throat, or the individual, when in fact they’re part of a zealous, political, fanatical group?” Matthews asked.“Isn’t the group itself culpable? Don’t we have to make war on them, not on the individual who was the instrument of that terror, that day, that moment?”

Ex-official claims Clinton allies scrubbed Benghazi documents in secret session
September 15, 2014

A former State Department official has told lawmakers that Hillary Clinton allies privately removed politically damaging documents before turning over files to the supposedly independent board investigating the Benghazi terror attack.

The account from Raymond Maxwell, former head of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), was first published in The Daily Signal. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, confirmed to FoxNews.com on Monday that Maxwell told him and other lawmakers the same story when they privately interviewed him last year about the attacks and their aftermath.

Chaffetz said that Maxwell claimed Clinton's chief of staff and deputy chief of staff were overseeing the document operation, which allegedly took place on a weekend in a basement office of the State Department.

"What they were looking for is anything that made them look bad. That's the way it was described to us," Chaffetz said.

According to Chaffetz' account of his interview with Maxwell, as well as the Daily Signal report by Sharyl Attkisson, Maxwell said those scrubbing the documents were looking for information that would cast Clinton and senior leaders in a "bad light."

Chaffetz said such documents were said to be removed, so that Congress and the Accountability Review Board -- the board probing security lapses as well as the attack's aftermath -- would not see them.

Businesses report cutting jobs due to ObamaCare
September 16, 2014

Businesses are cutting jobs due to ObamaCare, according to surveys by several regional Federal Reserve Banks.

Health economist John Goodman noted that "three Federal Reserve Banks in Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta have surveyed the folks in their area and roughly one fifth of the employers are saying they cut back on employment.

“Roughly one fifth are saying they're moving from full time to part time,” Goodman added.“More than one in ten are saying they're doing more outsourcing - all this because of the new health care reform."

Ex-Tom Corbett Staffer Complains Of Porn Culture, Gender Discrimination !!!!!!!

The Pennsylvania attorney general's office paid a $15,000 settlement to a female agent who accused executives of sharing pornographic emails and making derogatory comments to women while Tom Corbett, who is now the state's Republican governor, was in charge.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that the agent, Dianne Buckwash, alleged in a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that the men in the attorney general's office held all the power, women were rarely promoted and executives in the Criminal Law Division were known to email around photos of nude women and "adults engaged in sex acts." Buckwash said the events occurred during the administrations of then-Attorney General Corbett, who served from 1995 to 1997 and 2005 to 2010, and Linda Kelly, who served as attorney general in 2011 and 2012.

The only parasites I know of are in Lake Erie where the town drinks that water while the water treatment plant catches all the condoms before that water gets inside your faucet.

Liberals are the weakest, phoneyest class in America. They portray nothing but the phoniest compassion for minorities. They continue to try and connivence blacks they are stupid to push their own agenda of living off of another mans dollar because they are unskilled, weak and unable to provide for their own family. Liberals once had a very productive purpose but now you are just the retards of our society.

There is no “Holy Grail” of property tax reform. Any property tax reform measure will involve shifting the tax levy from one type of tax to another – there’s no free ride. But there are ways to fund our schools and to ensure a better education for our children that are fairer and more effective than property taxes.
Many Pennsylvanians lose their homes and a lifetime’s work to sheriff’s sales each year because they can no longer afford to pay their property taxes. Senior citizens on fixed incomes are increasingly forced to sell their homes because of unrelenting increases in their tax burden. Young families cannot afford to purchase a home because the per-month property tax escrow is simply too high. Multigenerational family farms are being sold piece by piece to pay property taxes, devastating Pennsylvania agriculture. School districts in areas of the state with limited population and no commercial tax base are in distress and are unable to afford to give their children a quality education. Job losses, outmigration, and abysmal state economic performance caused by burdensome property taxes are devastating Pennsylvania’s economy.
A sensible, broad-based, statewide and state-administered property tax replacement funding source is needed eliminate an antiquated and regressive property tax system, to end these educational inequities, to return home ownership to the homeowner instead of allowing the government to effectively own our homes, and to restore Pennsylvania’s economic vitality.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Our current system of school funding is crumbling. This decay has been occurring for many years and continues to escalate. Home foreclosures and tax sales are occurring at an expanding rate and the home market is at a standstill. The opportunity to fund education from a statewide source is rapidly vanishing as relentlessly rising property taxes outpace available revenue. This will have major implications for school districts statewide. It can no longer be ignored or diminished. Replacement of the school property tax must be accomplished now.

BS. Personally my taxes have went down this year. Our school district this year has received about 23 million year alone. We have had construction going on for years which has resulted in almost every one of our brick and mortar schools being renovated and a completely new one built that is up and running. Liberals are hell bent on taxing to death a new industry which employs ten of thousands of Blue Collar workers which will ultimately take hours off their pay checks, food off their table and decease expansion and hiring. Not to mention the trickle down effect. Get you hand out of the working man/women's wallet and get your own. If you don't believe public education is adequate consider a private school. Providing for your own family is a honorable thing. Expecting somebody else to so is not.
