Tobyhanna Township Girl, 5, Rescued From Pocono Lake

Quick thinking by two lifeguards at a lake in the Poconos saved the life of a 5-year-old girl who nearly drowned while swimming in Tobyhanna on Monday, police said.

This little girl did not make a complete recovery. She passed away yesterday, August 10th.

Her mother was there and couldn't swim. All articles were deceptively optimistic from the beginning.
