Just like the Ohio Univ kids who were paid $5 to vote Dem last week. It's take a lot of balls to lecture folks on the evils of "pay-to-play" like Tom Noe and the in the other room pull stunts like this. Face it, that's how things get done....money ($$$) greases the skids, gets attention, receives consideration, and pays the bills. How do you think they pay for the ads and salaries ? It's the way of the world.

THE ACTUAL QUOTE FROM RASMUSSEN IS AS FOLLOWS: "Republican candidates have stretched their lead over Democrats to six points in the Generic Congressional Ballot. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 37% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. Republicans have held the lead for over four months now. Voters not affiliated with either party continue to heavily favor Republicans, 43% to 20%." I have no clue where you are getting "Rasmussen polls swing by huge margins", because Rasmussen tends to be recognized as the leader in accuracy of polling. For the record, I did not say "droves", but only 295 days into the Obama administration, and the polls showing the public is favoring the opposing party is definitely an issue the administration needs to be concerned with. |

1 Not anger, Common Sense, hatred. And it ain't gonna stop until something blows in this country. You think this recession is bad? You ain't seen nothing yet. With all this money being printed, notice how M-3 is no longer even reported by the Fed, we're going to see hyper-inflation. And after that, we'll see a depression worse than the '30's when we were still self-sufficient in energy and manufacturing. Republicans put us in this mess yet have the gall to claim Democrats are not mopping it up fast enough. Not anger, Common Sense, hatred, and well-deserved hatred at that. |

I am a democrat and I can not believe this! What a discrace! I may have to vote republican for the first time- ever. Between this and Obama's crap with the gays getting married and wearing tutus in the army, it's out of control.
Next you'll tell me that even though I have a job and good health care that you are going to take my hard earned money and give it to someone else who won't work so that they can have health care. |

1 Really, when are we going to learn, just look a little west toward Indiana. One of only two states in our country who are in the black and not suffering two digit un-employment, both have Repubs in the state house. Go Indy, show them how it is done!!!!! When are you left wing nuts going to learn, you can't legislate the poor to the middle class, not to worry, the poorest of the poor still have cell phones, X-Box 360's and the big screens. Along with a smooth ride with 20's |

Now this is change and hope we can all count on.
Strickland has pulled the king of (pay to play) from the ODC. Mayor (Mike don’t challenge my manhood) Colman’s bag men from the city of Columbus development directors up to milk the cows dry like Stafford in the news this year telling the minority contractors (that if they wanted to work in Columbus they had to pay to play) and Kevin Boyce the former director for Colman who is now a Strickland appointment to state office over money. Colman collects form big business in all projects done here and has his paws in the money and so everyone else in the ODC is licking the jar until they get caught. Looks like it is time for real change we can count on, jobs, open government and no more pay to play with big business giving handouts to the dems. Money and power is like a powerful drug to them they just keep doing what ever it takes to get it. By the way to all of the libs whom will attack this post how is your change and hope doing for you? Over 10% of Ohioans now without jobs and promises of green jobs, yet you want more taxes and foreclosures as long as you stay in power. More Ohioans will look to live in a chicken coop like Ted told us he did. Now how an a Methodist minister and psychologist own all of this hopes and change expect to get reelected without the help of ACORN, Tides, and Apollo and other left wing get out the dead vote and drugs for votes like in Toledo. |

If you look at their day to day breakdowns, it often varies by several percentage points. Given that, it's pretty obvious that people's attitudes change based on the issue of the day. While it may be a VERY accurate survey, I don't think that it's necessarily representative of GENERAL overall attitude of people leaving for one side to the other. This happens with every presidency - hence we often jump back and forth between the 2 parties from election to election. It's more a statement of the majority being right up the middle, and neither party satisfying the needs of the average American.
