I just stumbled upon this article while doing a Google search on my old boss Albert Mikesh. If you care to add to this article, you have my permission. I played bass with Albert Mikesh during those glory years of live music. I remember Craven Corner VERY well. We always played there on Thursday nights. It was a long haul from Lidgerwood ND and if I recall we played from 9:30 PM until 1:30 AM. Being a high school kid I had to suffer through school the next day with about 3 hours of sleep. I always remember Craven Corner being packed and the food was fantastic. It's great to know that Oscar is still with us. I'm sure he doesn't probably remember me, but I can see him in my mind as if it were yesterday. As for me, I am still in the band business and work full time as a solo act playing Classic Rock cover tunes, Blues, Smooth Jazz. Visit my website at www.klimekguitarman.com

I was at a Cancer Walk-a-thon in Forman, ND in June where he played. He's still goin' strong. My brother once played bass for him, and he's been a long time family friend. Should I know you?

First off, as much as they may want to claim me (for whatever reason0, I am not, nor have ever been a resident of Jeffersonville, OH. I'm sure it's a nice place, but I still live in Long Prairie MN. On to Deborah's question. I was Al Mikesh's THIRD bass player. The first one was Gaaland Kath, then Allyn Bozovsky, then me. I didn't know all the 'cats' that played with Al after I left, but am thinking your brother might be Tim Haaland whom I did meet a few times. Ah--it all seems so much like ancient history now. And Deborah, you may not remember me, but you should definitely know my wife Luana; you went to high school with her in Lidgerwood!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Capricorn

This is a marvellous day for having a discreet word in someone's ear. You'll be able to choose your words carefully, making you very tactful and considerate, and as a result you will have a helpful conversation. This is also a good opportunity to talk about topics that are very dear to your heart, or which are usually too private to mention.
