When you read in the AMERICAN PRESS Legal
Ads about "Sale of Adjudicated Properties",
you know that someone is having their property
stolen from them by those who run the
government of the Parish of Calcasieu and/or
the City of Lake Charles. Such is the taking
of property by the government without due
process of law. There is more to it all than
this, but this is something to think about.
Stop the "legalized" theft of properties by
those who own and run the governments of the
City of Lake Charles and the Parish of Calcasieu.
That's what we have courts of law for: to allow
"due process of law" to those who own property
when the government wants to take their
property from them. These landowners have
a right to "due process", including an
opportunity to be heard on the matter of the
reasonableness of the inflated and exorbitant
fees for cutting grass, removing waste, etc.
and tearing down buildings that have been
consemned. And this condemnation of real
properties by those who run and own the
governments of the City of Lake Charles and
the Parish of Calcasieu is a real scandal.
Again, there is more to it all than this, but
this is something to think about.

Sincerely,

The City of Lake Charles hs plans for North Lake Charles, but they have to move people out first. New construction of low income housing is being moved south of town and so goes the children. The children move, the schools population continues to decrease. An increase in student population in North Lake Charles means they need another school in South Lake Charles. They've tried before, but the vote was against it. If they continue to do as they have been they will have a reason for a new school other than the charter school.
People of North Lake Charles should pay the property taxes of parents who have passed regardless of whether or not there is more than one owner. Keep the property maintained and don't give them a reason. Remember, you have three years to redeem the property. They will make it hard, but maybe North Lake Charles needs to contact a higher authority regarding this Theft by Adjudicated Property.
