Everyone talks about levees on the Intracoastal. That is fine. But what happens to all the River, Bayous,& Canal that drain into the Intracoastal. You need levees for these also or you end up with a beautiful levee with water on both sides. The surge will follow those Rivers, Bayous and Canals and still flood the areas. It seems no one thinks of this. But then again I am sure the good old boy syndrome will come into play and some one makes a killing building the levees. Will not support any new taxes for this either. People are taxed out. Did people really think this through...
