PETA Calls For Probe Of Royal, NE Zoo

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has asked the Antelope County board of supervisors to investigate "Zoo Nebraska," in Royal, for alleged mistreatment of animals at the facility here.

I hope the inspectors deny the zoo to reopen.I also do not beleive that this will come to pass as these inspectors don't care that much for the animals or the rights of animals.If you do not think that this is so all you need to do is look at the cattle along side the roads,you see dead cows rotting in the sun ,too many cows jammed into a small pen for days at a time,cows in the hands of people that don't really know what they are doing...

How can u say that? The people of the Royal Zoo are fine and good people. Why should we say that because one employee makes a very easy mistake to make....we should close the entire zoo?....should Henry Dorly Zoo close if a giraffe gets loose? PETA is a harsh left-wing liberal group who themselves should be investigated instead of this Royal Zoo Incident.

The director of the zoo is my uncle and I happen to know for a fact that the animals are not being mistreated. For one the animals are health and well feed and cared for my uncle pays for most of the food himself no matter how much it costs. PETA should have investigated the old director he was the one who didn’t care for the animals that’s why my uncle took over. He treats them better then the old director did
