Friendship reunited in city hall
“Whether its politics or anything else in life, until you walk in somebody's shoes, or step into the trenches so to speak, people sometimes have no idea”
John Zumer admits he didn't succeed in every aspect as Crawfordsville's mayor. He knew he may ultimately pay the price for decisions he made pertaining to the city. via The Journal Review

Sounds like he is doing the right thing but you gotta wonder if we won't go from bad to worse! I think there is a lot more to being mayor than most of the candidates realize.

What a crock! I can't believe he would proclaim a day in her honor. I don't personally know her and I'm sure she is probably a good person but there are people who dedicate their entire lives to the city. What has she done? She's only worked part-time for the city for a couple of years. She bailed him out following his sexual harrassment scandal with his former assistant. This is a slap in the face to those dedicated to the city. Most of them will never be given a second thought little lone a day in their honor! Good riddens Zumer! The only sad thing is that neither of the 3 boneheads that are running to replace him are any better. They are kink of like the three stooges.
