I'm interested in training to operate a backhoe loader. Is there anyone in the Crawfordsville area who would give me this training? I'll be glad to pay.

Since I would rather not give out personal information, maybe the person who is interested in giving me this training can meet me at a restaurant in Crawfordsville. Thanks.

Do you have the backhoe you need training on? If you have one get on it and play around with it. You will get the hang of it. Just go slow and be cairful.

If I had a backhoe, I would definitely be playing around with it and get familiar with it's controls and most importantly take it slow. But, unfortunately I don't and that is why I posted in the first place. I've had to train myself on other equipment which was in a factory and a backhoe isn't any different if I had one.

So, the offer is still on. If there's anyone in the Crawfordsville area who would give me some training on a backhoe loader, I'm willing to pay for his time and use of the equipment. I will be happy to meet in one of the local restaurants for locations, pay and any other info.

I don't think so. I don't need to learn how to operate pavers, cranes, steam shovels, vibratory and asphalt rollers, giant dump trucks and other equipment as big as a city block.

Though, I can go through this school I'm looking at $6,600 for 3 weeks or I can have it paid for through Community Action since I'm laid off. But, it would be unfair for Community Action to pay to put me through this school and me not get any benefit from it since I'm close to retirement.

However, all the government needs to do is sufficiently p!ss me to make me attend the Georgia School of Construction on their dime, just so I can get out of Crawfordsville, Indian for 3 weeks.

My training is limited to forklifts and backhoe loaders-nothing else! And I'm having to pass up jobs that require a forklift and/or backhoe loader.

I hope the next reply I get is someone in my area willing to train me on a backhoe loader only, since I operated a forklift at one of the places where I worked at. I'm willing to pay or since I'm an artist, I can do pencil sketches of the backhoe owners children, wife or even him or his construction equipment. I can make an impressive ad for the Yellow Pages. So I would definitely barter for this training as well.

We can meet in one of the Crawfordsville Restaurants to finalize plans, exchange telephone numbers, etc.

Including me. But, now they require certifications as if you didn't notice. I've already applied for a forklift job. But, I would like to apply for some jobs where both a fork lift and backhoe loaders are operated. Now do you get my point?

If they live in Crawfordsville IN or have to come to Crawfordsville, then have them to come on this website so I can make arrangements. After all, there are lots and lots of people by the name of Hampton. My crystal ball is broken and in the shop and I don't know who has a backhoe and is willing to train me.

It's sure a crock of Horse Manure that I can't find one person to train me on a backhoe loader around here. I'm even willing to rent the freaking thing if someone has land I can dig and scope on. What's the matter with you people around Crawfordsville anyhow?

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Taurus

If you're a typical Taurean you enjoy a steady routine, but this is one of those days when you really benefit from living in a more spontaneous way. So forget about your usual schedule and try to ring the changes. Even some small departures from your usual routine will make a big difference to your mood, so don't imagine that it has to be all or nothing.
