Yes, Carol's friend, Vita told a few ppl how. As a person who grew up with him and knew the situation, I still was deeply saddened and shocked. I hope he finally is at peace and driving around in a black vette with the top down.

****How much of an old friend are you & how well did you know the situation? Yes, it was a tragic, however not surprising, ending.....I too hope that he is at some peace now.....****

As I said we grew up together, I knew the situation very well. Scott told me himself back in October what he was going through. Looking at him, it was obvious something was going on and seeing him in the months that followed, you knew the his situation wasn't getting any better .
I agree it wasn't a suprizing ending, tragic yes. Sad, yes.

Were you at the wake &/or funeral? Before I found out what exactly happened, I could tell by looking at him that things were NOT good in the end.

Yes, and it isn't good. It's an awful ending to the downward spiraling path of destruction that he chose to take. Very disturbing.

I was at the funeral home. And yes, you could tell by looking at him if you didn't already know that things were out of control.

It was difficult to know that things had gone that badly. My thoughts & prayers are with him & those he left behind....

I was in shock when I saw he passed away. Unfortunately, I lost contact with him a while back and did not know what was going on.

Scott was your typical, "when you're up you're up and when you're down you're down" type of guy. Whenever he had a hockey stick in his hands, he was golden. His other love is what messed him up, it's been a lot of years but I guess he just never got over it.

He lived his life fast. His cars, his women, his sports, his habits. No dude like Scott would get caught up over an old love. Demons are demons.

Yes. A few times. He swore to me that he was in therapy and was clean and was going to move on with his life. You could tell by the way he was acting and looked he wasn't.The thing with Scott,he was his own worst enemy. I guess like Bob said in a previous post- Demons are demons.

I too was deeply upset to hear about Scott. I lost touch with him a few years back and was shocked to hear about all this. When did this all start?

There were always issues. One way or another, issues were there. Scott was never happy with what he had, he always wanted more or better. Unable to be satisfied, I guess. Such a waste.

Old timer, you hit the nail on the head. It was heartbreaking to see how NOTHING was ever good enough. He was very self-conscious & THAT was a HUGE factor in the inadequacies he found in others & "things"
