Too bad its full of killers, religious cults, and rapists. I moved there for a few years. The people there are unfriendly towards what they call "flat landers" The older men are always chasing after little girls. The people there lack any sort of an education. If you enjoy reading, and having any semblance of intelligence you will unfortunately be hated on the spot for using "big words." I have never been to a more unfriendly, horrible place in my life. And I know i can't be too far off when the i have spotted kids over there ripping live animals to pieces for fun. Cats, birds, squirrels. These fourteen year old kids ripping the screaming animal apart. It has honestly scarred me. Not to mention they have the unofficial "cat hunting season." Personally i think that town would be better off enclosing their psychotic minds away before they stop killing their friends and come after the rest of the world...if they even know there is anything past their tiny little sociopathic town.

Now I know why Timmy lives there. He fits right in.(see other posts under "Horizon")

I don't think the situation in Crandon is any different then the rest of this area, however, if what you say is true, then Crandon has set the bar pretty high. Come on St. Germain, we can do better then just not enforcing the building codes, ignore requests from residents, and basically just being a lousy place to visit and live. Are we going to let Crandon out do us?

Sorry.. Disreguard the previous comment. I didn't understand the story.. It is $700,000 and has nothing to do with the casino.

I don't know about anyone being racist, but I do know alot about what it means to be an outsider (see posts under St Germain). This is an awful place to live.

Try hiring Cornerstone Custom Builders to build a vacation home in the Northwoods. Try hiring a person like Timmy Reeder from Crando. I guarantee you're opinion of the people will definetly change, for the worse. That is if you survive.

Hahaha, Ok I should not say this, but... I am from Eagle River, WI, I somehow ended up moving to Crandon and I have to somewhat agree to your post! I find the people to be a little unfriendly and yes, definitely uneducated. My mom grew up in this town and left as soon as she could get a bus ride out of town. I still spend most of my time in Eagle River since I work there. Not sure if I will get use to it here or not.:-/
