Response to "Proud to live in Edwardsville"

Living in Georgetown as I do, I travel State Rd 64 a lot. At Oaks Rd and 64 there's an Edwardville sign, futher down 64 at Tunnel Hill Rd another Edwardsville sign and a third at Oaks and Frank Ott Rd. Then of course Edwardsville Plaza, Edwardsville United Methodist Church and Edwardsville Water Company.
None of these references to Edwardsville are in Edwardsville.
Public records show that Edwardsville consist of three (3) Plats. Plat No. 46, Plat Book "A" page 51, Plat No. 65, Plat Book "A" page 73 and Plat No. 648. None of these plats exist pass Corydon Pike where it itersects State Roads 64/62.
Being proud of where you live is a good thing, and all this time you've been pround to live Georgetown and didn't even know it.
