Monroe would like to destroy historical sights on public property the same as they destroyed mail service in Jamesburg.

No matter where you dig you are bound to find artifacts. Can someone tell me why, all of a sudden when we desperately need to build this High School we can't because there are artifacts in the ground. Why didn't these artifacts bother us when we used these fields to play soccer or swing a golf club or walk the dogs? Why does it bother you more so now than before? We have waited long enough and wasted many millions of dollars-dollars that we could have saved had the first referendum passed, we have probably exceeded the cost of that referendum and we still haven't obtain the deed to the 15 acres of parkland for this High School to be built on. We will probably get a smaller school because of all the price increases of materials and labor.
Have the many new home building companies stepped up and offer to donate the land for this High School? Have they felt sorry for us? Absolutely not...know why? They don't care. They are only bringing in more families and making themselves richer. Someone needs to get off the pot and take a stand and stop waiting for inaction. I've never in my life seen anything like this before. Education comes first, remember, if there is a school with a sound education and values you will have students. What do you have with an overcrowding student body and no school? Lowest taxes in the county will soon disappear with inaction. Any builders want to donate some land for our New High School as a philanthropic gesture? Let this town know- as it is time to give back what they have afforded to you for the last 14 years....
Thank you for your time,

Jesus! How narrow minded can you get Surgeon. Monroe taxes are a joke....get ready to pay a lot more very soon. And it's not because of inaction. It's because of of a very poor master plan. You guys are East Brunswick 30 years ago. Your town needs to stop the building....PERIOD!! It has caused a severe stress on the roads and infrastructures of the surrounding much smaller towns like Jamesburgh and Spotswood. Schools are a joke too! I'm so sick of hearing " we need to do it for the children". Come on, it's about greed....period. Everyone is it for the buck and we all sit by and do nothing. We get what we deserve. Wake up and smell the facts. The school unions have you by the short and curlys.
