I moved to Allentown 6 months ago to what I had hoped would be my little retirement cottage backing up to Heritage Park. I have quiet, lovely sunsets, and the quaint charm of my little town.
Now I find out that a huge warehouse is planned for the edge of Heritage Park approximately 1 mile as the crow flies from my backyard. It will not only add noise but light pollution from the 24 hr lighting. No berm is going to block out that much candle power.
I would like to see the DEP stop the project cold. It has to impact our water quality since it is close to 2 streams and the water treatment plant. The run off from the asphalt parking lots and the diesel dripping trucks boggles the mind.Where are these peoples heads? Obviously somewhere the sun don't shine.
What is going to warehoused there? What could be so important that the Rockefeller Group needs to blight yet another area of New Jersey? Please give it up and move on.

I have traveled down CR 539 for many years, and I cannot stand these new hideous warehouses that Washington Township (soon to be Robbinsville Township) representatives have allowed.
I have seen too many darn warehouses in Cranbury, and (especially) South Brunswick! Washington will soon become a nightmare as many trucks will now plow down the roads.
