was she the next highest votes in the election? Just wondering if that is how it should be, if not should it be who had the next highest votes? If not the next highest votes then that is not the people choice right or wrong? just wondering how the town is being ran, from councilmen and mayor. or by mayor and friends?

Just an F.Y.I. Joel Lineberger was the next highest vote getter in this election. The new Mayor was the deciding factor in appointing Mrs. Ware to his former position. My opinion? The town will be ran by Mayor and Friends, such as Mrs. Hoover and the pre-election party that she hosted under the geist of the Merchants Association, even though no other businesses were even invited! Ask Georgio's owner, H+M's, etc. Hope that helps!

Justice4All, finally someone who sees what alot of us see and understands, yes that is how it will be ran, and as far as Mr. uhumm I mean Ms. Hoover she will be throwing her money and weight around, and then have after council party's at her bar... I hope eventually the people will see and speak up.... yes the merchant association if you look up the record at courthouse was file and under her name, lol she is the merchant association now, becaz the other merchants have been done so dirty by her that they opted out of the last Center Live and her starting the association was a way to make it look good, her name is on the thing they record, lol she is the merchant association...hell Ms. Hoover should have just been appointed becaz they will bow down to what she wants anyway, well that is until next election, just one new person can get in there and tell it all, and vote for the town not for making kathleen hoover money..

Thanks Mayworth School Monitor. Glad to know I am not the only one that can see through the BS. I knew of the pre-election shin-dig, which promoted Ronnie Worley as the next Mayor. This seemed as if the entire Merchants Association backed him! SO NOT TRUE! I hope more folks get as wise as we are. They will soon enough find out. If they think they were unhappy with the previous leadership, just wait. The new mayor is merely a puppet, one who will bow to the likes of Ms. Hoover, Michael Peoples and the like. A true "YES" man in the truest sense of the word. Now, Mr. Lineberger is the town's newly appointed Finance Manager. How do ya like them marbles??? I smell something quite foul brewing in Cramerton; not just Ms. Hoover's homemade spirits!!!

Sorry, I have been informed that her name is Hover, not Hoover as I previously posted. My regrets.

Ronnie Worley is an upstanding person who wants to advance Cramerton and make it a better place to live. Joel Lineberger didnt want the job and Mrs. Ware was the next highest vote getter. You guys need to get a life.
Te merchant association does have other members, if the other groups wanted change they should have joined and voiced their opinion!

Cramerton fan, you are soooo right, Lineberger did not want the job hmmmm see if you can follow me through this and i will go slow so you can keep up.... When applications to run were filed Lineberger filed, but then he did not even really put any effort into it to win, hmmm could that be that he had already applied for the Cramerton Finance job and knew he was getting it?? yes, so then he put his name on the ballot for votes, for votes only to be taken away from others like Hugh Howell and Sandra Ware..ok then had the election (are you still with me), but had the election and he lost, well then when come time to fill the open position, Oh he dont want it now, hmm you ran for commissioner a month ago but now you dont want it??, oh that is because you took the Finance job right?? that you knew you had all along, so then they have to fill the seat with Sandra Ware, so your saying they offerred Joel the commissioner seat and he declined? can you get the story straight becaz in your post that is what you said, he didnt want the job as commissioner, even though not less than a month ago little more, he ran for commissioner, now why would he not want the job?? because they ALL knew what they were doing, he ran to take votes away from others knowing he had the job of finance director, so that way, everybody gets what Hover wants right? No you need to get a life, not us..anyone who calls out what is going on down there is labeled a trouble maker... why would you run for commissioner and then be offerred the job you ran for and not take it, DUH becaz he had the finance director job, he was in the election simply to take votes from Howell and Ware.. and as YOU stated "he didnt want the commissioner job", well that means he was asked did he want it before appointing Ware..If Sandra Ware didnt love this town, she should nt have taken 3rd choice, I would not have taken the commissioner job after they trickle down and I am last choice... unless well isnt that funny , yes we all see now, that was the plan the whole time, a way to get people in that all agreed and frankly all who frequent the Tavern...This town is full of liars, hippocrits, people who throw money in the church plate on Sunday and then cut their own family in the throat on Monday.... Nothing but political corruption and plots.. the way I just spelled out what happen should tell you that, and I dont think anyone said anything negative about Mr. Worley, I agree he is stand up citizen, very mild mannered but he is associated now with the cut throat ways of people he associates with, I am sure he was even talked to about this from his own church, see I live next door to the church and go there... when you run with dogs you get fleas...end of story, well until 2012

Ah, but dear "Cramerton Fan", I do have a life. I said nothing against Ronnie Worley. Perhaps you need to put your reading glasses on, my dear. No, Mr. Lineberger, Joel, that is, wanted the finace managers position, and he could not hold both positions. Go figure! I have known Ronnie my entire life as we both grew up in Cramerton. I hope that as a "Dear Abby" wanna-be, that you speak from experience, and that you did also. Some people will stand up for what is just and right, whether it pisses people off or not. Then there are those that are either naive, or can be easily bought or sold. Where do you stand, Cramerton fan from Mount Holly??? I am assumimg you are a Hover-ine? Hey, to each his or her own. I would suggest you find your own purpose in life rather than suggest that myself or Mayworth "get a life". It suggests to me that maybe you need to get involved in what really does go on. Do special interest groups, or should I say "friends", get preferential treatment? I give to you your first "Clue". Why is First Baptist Church getting a crosswalk now, complete with lights and the whole nine yards, when in previous years, Cramerton Christian School requested one,to safely get their children across a busier sreet and was DENIED, saying that they must fund their own? Ask which person is a member of that church, neigh a deacon? I am all for a better Cramerton. However, a democracy should rule and not a minority, or their buddies, or a bully that signs up as the leader of an association that then does nothing to inform her members of her activities. As I said, ask the aforementioned owners yourself before you make assumptions that simply are false. Don't believe everything you are spoon-fed,Cramerton fan. And certainly do not try to belittle me as I am sure you would not do this to my face. This is a post.Get over yourself. Freedom...and Justice For All!!!

Yes, ironic, isn't it? The Lineberger situation, the Sr. one that is, is correct, in my opinion, regarding the insider shuffle going on during the elections. The younger one, I will honestly say that I am only up to date as to the legal postings on The Gazette and the various blogs posted. I understand this was not the first incident, according to several posts. This much is for sure 1. If it were you or I, I am sure we would be interrogated, arrested, and would do our time at the pokey! 2. If any fool would wave a gun or any weapon at any member of my family, he could only HOPE to go on to the pokey with Cramerton's finest providing him a first-class escort there! I have just been informed that the Town of Cramerton in conjunction with DOT is paying for this. Just curious, Mayworth? Were you and your fellow appartment dwellers offered the same treatment?!!Ha!I would call town manager to find out, but never receieve return calls when it comes to these matters. Go figure! I will do my best to help you find out though. Keep me posted! I am with ya, Mayworth!

Come on guys...Lineberger ran for election and wasnt elected.....during the period of election he found out about and applied for the job. He was then offered the job but could not sit on the board. He was the MOST Qualified applicant..go check. He chose the job over the council seat meaning...follow me here he didn't want the commision seat. As far as crosswalks go, go to a meeting and voice your complaint. I'm sure you will find that this has benn in the works for a while. You don't just get the DOT to approve work overnight. The stimulus money had to be spent and this was the project the DOT chose. As far as Mrs. Hover goes...I don't really know here personally and don't care waht she thinks or does. As far as Lineberger Jr., the kids filed a report and he was arrested and taken to jail...what else do you want the town police to do...the can't be judge, jury, and exicutioner...and let me guess you supported Murphy and his cronies!

no actually that is where you are wrong, did not support Murphy.. and as my post stated and I am not going to post all that again.. bottom line Africa left in late last year..SR. Lineberger knew and applied for it back then, so if he knew because the council and town did, then why even run in November, then be offerred and turn down council seat, the scenerio is not coincidental and you just refuse to see that.. oh and just since you brought up Andrew Lineberger, the only reason he was "arrested" which he was not, he actually got told the parents took a warrant out on him and they called him and gave him the go ahead to turn himself in, they did not arrest him, that would be too harsh for a man that just pulled a little ole loaded gun on some teens, so no he was not taken to jail, my my his dad works at town, now you dont think that is coincidental too do ya? The police did not even go to Andrews home that night and ask what happen, warrant or no warrant, they should have went.. but but now they will go with guns drawn to Food Lion and take the town drunk to jail on "misdemeanors" in handcuffs now, but parents were told since it was "misdemeanor they could not go arrest him", well then how do you throw a drunk down for something you didnt see him do? just need a class on the laws I guess, i dont know them.. but I knw when a boy sneaked a cig off a porch during the summer, a policeman ran him down, wasted gas to ask him what happen, well why didnt the policeman simply tell the man who the child got the cig from, oh well just a misdemeanor so I cant go talk to the boy, you need to go take a warrant out and that be it"..that is what I think is confusing the people around here.. I am sure if a gun was pulled on the mayor's son, that the police would go and ask Andrew Lineberger what happened.. double standards and who knows who, that is wht we are trying to say, the whole town has different set of laws and rules for different social classes, if you need more examples, then just let me know and I will post some....the elections were very much set up like a football play, and it ended up in a touchdown, which is good for them, but the people of Cramerton are tired of it and you will see in the future, watch the favors and special contributions..oh and I guess since you mentioned it..I guess you voted for Worley and his crew at the Tavern right? I can smell your breathe from here, but hey that dont matter, drive, hit someone and hek Cramerton will let you get out of that too and keep your seat on the council...it is unbelievable and you know it whether you admit it or not.

Sorry to not reply all. Been in the hospital past two weeks...fun, fun. But things are looking up. I am laughing so hard at your previous post, Mayworth! I do hope the police are monitoring the comings and goings in front of Ye Old Taven. Interesting to see the lock-up reports in The Gazette. And fan, it is none of your business who I do or do not support. I personally like them both. However, I do not think that there should be different standards for people. If you are driving drunk, you should be arrested, booked, go to trial, etc. REGARDLESS OF YOUR INCOME, STATUS, OR WHO YOU KNOW! Fair is fair. And darling, I am at many meetings. I know a lot of things that go on at Town Hall and in Cramerton. I do not speak rumor or lies, simply the truth as I know it. Personally, I have only positive things to say regarding the Cramerton Police. They have been nothing but kind to me and my family. I would hope that if I were to go nuts enough to wave a gun vicariously at young boys, that a police officer would promptly deal with me. Same for you or anyone else in the wrong. Get real; favors are done for some, not for others. That is wrong, any way you look at it. Peace to you all!

Looks like Cramerton has 2 sets of laws, wonder if I can get on the side that let's me do as I want then make up stuff to cover it up.... Cramerton Police are great but in a case I know of, they could have did more, and not just looked at social status of children and dismissed claims because of previous wrongs by a bunch of kids.. Im moving to C town, and buying a house on Front street so I will have an armed guard at the top of it... Street patrol, can I point guns too?

Tshots, you probably will be OK unless you wavr your guns at kids who irritate you! In that case, better be sure your daddy has some big connections! Welcome to Cramerton. It is a beautiful little town with nice folks (mostly).Keep your eyes open, like MayworthSchoolMonitor, though. Watch what's going on in your town and you do speak the truth, as stated above. I personally believe that this favoritism does exist, but I also think it is in other places too.Still it is wrong!
