Richwood residents' deaths investigated as homicides

The deaths of two Richwood residents are being investigated as homicides, police said. via Charleston Gazette

WILL BE PRAYING 4 FAMILIES OF THESE 2 PEOPLE.HOPE THEY FIND WHO DID IT.NO ONE IS SAFE,THEY NEVER DID FIND WHO KILLED BILL FLETCHER.GUESS THAT KILLER GOT AWAY WITH IT.NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT,LIKE THAT WAS IT.ANYWAY CATCH THEM SOON .

I do not condone the use of drugs and if these 2 people that were murdered at Nettie were quilty of dealing in drugs, I do not feel the least bit sorry for them.

If it was a drug deal that went bad, tough luck, if you play with fire your going to get burnt.

There is a candy flavored Meth out now and the drugies are giving it to grade school kids and getting them hooked.

My kids are grown now and never used drugs, I also have a grandchild in grade school that we are very proud of.

I see a lot of grandparents that are raising their grandchildern because the parents are to lazy to work or are on drugs.

Sorry, I got on the soap box, but I hope God helps the person that I catch giving kids drugs because I would kill them..

I don't understand how you or anyone else in this world could condone someone taking the life of another human being for anyone reason at all. No one should ever have to die that way and no family should ever have to go through the trama and the pain of losing a loved one that way. It hurts bad enough when you lose someone to natural causes, but to have to think of what your loved one may have went through the last minutes of their lives I would not wish that on anyone for any reason at all. Isn't that why we have a court system and the good Lord above to take care of the people who are doing wrong in their life? I am very happy for you that your children turned out the way they did, but parents don't know everything their kids do. I myself feel very sorry for the people this happened to and my heart goes out to their families. I hope and pray that they catch whoever done this becuase I myself am scared more of the fact that there is a killer running loose, possibly still in the community, than anything else. I will keep both of the families in my thoughts and my prayers. Also, I will pray for anyone who thinks it is alright to kill someone else, even if it has to do with drugs, no one ever has the right to take a life, except for God himself.

I think we should use the power of prayer to try and get the person(s) responsible confess. I Pray that the person or persons responsible can not get the images of what they have done out of their mind, that they can not sleep, eat or even function in any way because this is weighing so heavily on their conscience. I pray that this person or persons turns themself in and confesses their crime.

People on drugs don't have a conscience and they don't care who they hurt or kill, they're looking for money or more drugs. I agree with Bob, if I catch someone giving drugs to or molesting a child, he had better give his heart to God because his ASS is mine. I think we should forget about praying for the drugies and concentrate on trying to better things for our children. The courts are doing enough for the criminals, putting them up in an air conditioned jail, cable TV, law books so they can figure out how to get out. I think it's time that we do something for the victims and forget about the criminals.

I am not saying we should pray for the "drugies" I am saying we should pray that they get a conscience. I have a teenage child and if I ever caught some one attempting to harm my child in any way god be with them because I will be sending them straight to hell. The thing about it is until the person or persons that commited these murders are behind bars they are out there and can do it again.

I am not saying that people should give drugs to children either. All I am saying is that murder is murder no matter what the reason. And in my opinion if you could actually kill someone that makes you no different than someone that is on drugs. What if drugs didn't play a part in this murder? All anyone is talking about is that this was about drugs. Is anyone not concerned at all that there is a killer out on the streets with your children that they haven't caught yet? I think that is what everyone should be worried about right now. Who is to say that this person won't do this again and God forbid it could be someone you know. No one knows for sure that this was over drugs.All people know is what they have read and heard and none of it is a for sure fact. No one knows why this happened except for the sicko who done it.Every paper that I have read is trying to make these people out to be criminals by only talking about the fact this may have been drug related, not actually talking about the person that this happened to. Half of the people saying stuff about this probablly didn't know these people. They just hear DRUGS and think that gives them the right to talk bad about them. These people that were murdered was someone's father, someone's daughter, would you like it if the tables were turned and it was someone close to you that people were slandering and talking about. How can you even judge and speak ill of someone you know nothing of.I do agree with you that people in jail should not get the priviliges that they get, but at the same time the jail is keeping them off of the streets and the hell away from my children.And hopefully very soon the person who done this will be in a jail and off of the streets away from everyone's children.

I havn't seen anything about the murders being related to drugs, but to start the accusation about drugs being involved is very disrespectful to the families involved. Until it's proven drugs were involved, show some respect and quit spreading rumors.

Evidently the only thing you have read is what is posted on this site. Law enforcement thinks it was drug related and according to the news papers, several year ago, Mr. Delp was charged with dealing in drugs, I don't know if he was convicted or not, I guess you could go through the court records and find out.

Look at the crimes committed today and I would bet that 90% are drug related and I also wouldn't be afraid to bet that drugs are envolved in this case. We will have to wait and see.

There has been a killer or several killers out there for a few years now Bill Fletchers- Killer, Hoggie Woods- Killer and God only knows who elses killer is out there,they maybe sitting on our couch or at our table drinking coffee with us,teaching our kids or preaching, who knows? who's to say? What I've read has been in different newspapers. I don't rely on anything said here on Topix until I can check it out for myself. None of the articles I have read mentioned drugs, and I havn't talked to any law enforcement involved with the case. I guess I'm reading the wrong newspapers, but it's wrong to bash a deceased person, no matter how they died, especially when all the facts aren't out yet. It's one thing to suspect drugs are involved, that's to be expected, but people shouldn't accuse someone of it without knowing the whole story.

Why is it that everytime that something bad happens to someone the media only tells the bad things that they can find on people??? You hardly ever read anything good about the victims in cases like this. It is just not right!! For instance had they of looked further into Mr. Delps past they would of known that he was in the services and served his country for many years of his life. He was a very kind man that would have helped anyone that he could. He was a good person and does not deserve to have his name drug through the mud. Just once I would like to see the media say the good things victims done in their life, instead of trying to find all of the bad.

This crime has affected me, in a far-removed way. I will not go into the details but I must say, I pray that Mr. Delp and April Dawn Moore will rest in peace and that God will show mercy to them. And, I do hope that the criminals will be caught.

evidently you have no children because you cant be speaking from your heart the good book says judge not less ye be judged i knew the girl that was murderded although i'm sure she made her share of mistakes she didn'tdeserve the punishment she recived i only hope that if you do have children they never get mixed up in any type of drug situation because it would be terrible to think you would expect them to punish your child the same way so bob i hope and pray that you have neither children or grandchildren because you evidently have no compasion.

I think if people had looked deeper into Mr. Delps past they may find that he had been in alot of trouble, cops was around his home often, I have seen that with my own eyes, I had parents that lived very close to him, and I hate what happen to him and April, but drugs will make you do bad things and if he was such a good man why was he into that kind of stuff. I can not say anything bad about April, I have knowed her for many years, she got mixed up with the wrong people and they took her down with them, and the sad part is that they was the one that prob. killed her for a good high.

Although I did not know Ms. Moore, I did know Howard. I hadn't spoken to him in years. I know that since the last time I spoke with him he had become invovled with drugs, and he could have been involved all along, I don't know. While drugs probably plays a BIG part in his death, I don't know that you can rule everything else out of the picture. Let's just say that he was far from an upstanding citizen.

I hope that they find who did this, loosing someone so tragically is bad enough, but to never have answers to why is even worse, believe me I know!

Thank-you for replying, Sandra. I am friends with some people who knew April out here in AZ (she lived here for several years). We are all very disturbed about what happened. Have you heard of any new information? It seems as though the investigation is going slow...
