Who even remembers the wreck at Columbia Road? If you want to talk about it, then you start one. Larry Bailey was a good, hardworking, family man who had his life snuffed out by a druggie who got NO punishment whatsoever. Now that is something to talk about. It will be talked about around here for years to come. Sounds like both accidents were caused by druggies!!

Both accidents & the one caused by Samantha Faith are a slap in the face to every tax paying citizen in this county. Vote out the prosecuting atty. the magistrates, the judge. If they are not up for election now, they will be.

<quoted text>Proved today in Nicholas County Court room. The pill head that killed Mike Bailey by crossing center line, with 4 different drugs in her urine (proven-bug ridge)driving on revoked license(also Proven)was allowed to plead no contest to a misdemeanor and although witnesses saw her almost hit three other people and were willing to testify to this and she admitted to having taken two different drugs not prescribed to her that very day, willful neglect was not a charge, not showing up for her first hearing and having to be picked up by Webster County and took to CRJ..which carries charges in itself, never mentioned. PA after stating for 17 months that they a solid case, only yesterday said, I will not take this to a hearing, although a Grand jury heard enough evidence to indict. Prosecutor blames investigating officer because there was no blood work done for drugs, only a urine test, PA blames officer because truck she was driving was released to insurance company, according to defense this was evidence needed at trial, Officer says PA office told him to release the truck, so then they blamed it on a assistant PA whom is now serving in Afganistan. If you have a loved hurt in any way by a person under the influence, blood work is all that will help you, and the officer can call a magistrate for a search warrant and get the test at the hospital, even if the person refuses to have it done! Maybe this officer didn't know this, maybe our Sheriff needs more training for his deputies. Mishandled evidence, lack of getting evidence, reducing and coping to lesser offenses, agreeing to narc on others, all of this adds up to more drug abuse. Watching the people driving toward you doesn't always save you. Officers reports shows Mike went out of the road to avoid the accident that killed him. Investigations done right might get some of these people off the road. But it will not help Mike or the loved ones left to grieve for this man who was a upstanding and very hardworking man. Nor will justice be done to the person who did this. She may pull some time. Mike has no time. His family has no time with him. Can this be justice. Close to the same thing happened to the Tyos, and I'm sure they will have the same results when it comes to justice in our county. When we vote we all need to remember, the people we vote for are the ones who are suppose to enforce the law and protect us. But our sheriff and deputies need to know the laws in order to enforce them. The PA and assistant PAs need to step up and help fight these drug problems.
The court don't force people to plea one way or another that is not up to the court so I don't understand the statement she was allowed

You are obsessed with every topic on these forums and treat them as if it was "all about you"! Who cares, that is their business, not topix's business!

I'm touched by your concern, but I'm fine. Your outpouring is normal for those that have just witnessed pure genius at work.
