Friends, neighbors... I am starting this topic as a warning of the imminent doom to our country, to our world. God's Word explains in fine detail of thing's to come, and I'm here to spread the message on how to avoid such a dangerous period. God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ was beaten, cursed, and crucified to save you from your sin. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life...the only way to the Father! Go to the Lord in prayer, acknowledge that you are a sinner, open up your heart and surrender, asking Jesus Christ to come into your life. Repent of your evil way's and love one another. Forgive those who say and do evil against you, as Jesus said, love your neighbors as well as those who persecute you. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. God loves you, He loves you so much that he gave us his only begotten Son, Jesus, that through faith in him we will live for eternity in peace. There is no greater love! It's eternity regardless of what you choose, eternity with our Creator God, or eternal suffering. Jesus Christ gave us a way out, He promised a place free of sickness, pain and death through his precious blood. I am doing this because God love's you and so do I. I am also aware there will be people that will argue with me till times end, so I say whoever is without sin, cast the first stone.

Christianity: the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell.him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib woman was convinced by a talking snake to.eat from a magical tree.

Now, there is nothing false in that statement. That is describing the religion in literal terms. Does that not seem the least bit insane when you read it?

Can you prove that God does not exist? I can answer that for you...NO you can't. Disproving God has been a practice for centuries with absolutely nothing to show for it. Let me guess your theory of creation is based on evolution right? Evolution is theory only, based on logical guessing by man. My faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ and not one person on this earth can take that away from me. But, there will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, that i can guarantee! I will pray for you and your family.

down with christianity and all of its self-righteous, condecending, manipulative, corrupt, and ridiculous ways. i believe in a higher power, but not the christian one. i refuse to believe the only way to salvation is thru jesus. there are people on the other side of the world that dont even know what god or jesus, or anything for that matter, is. according to christianity they will perish for something that is not even their fault. therefore, i strive to remove every trace of christianity and its lies from this world and make it a better place for open minded people to live. and for all of you that say none of that applies to you because you are "different" its still guilt by association

I encourage you to research this more before passing judgment. Just about everything you mentioned of Christianity is incorrect. And you say I'm passing judgment, sorry to burst your bubble but these things were said by God thousands of years ago. And the fact that man doesn't like the idea of heaven or hell, sin or no sin has since erased it from today's society. God warned us about these thing's and he has warned of thing's to come, but people don't want to believe in something they cannot see. You call it scare tactics or guilt by association, God calls it God fearing. By all means criticize me all you want, but the judgement day is approaching, I can assure you... Prove God? Sure...I was once like you until my questions got as deep as the ocean's. Look at creation and tell me it just happened. As complex as the human body is there has to be a devine creator. Your answer, do as i mentioned in the first post and you will have your answer. God bless...

There is loads of proof of God's existence and you can write a whole book on a single argument. But let's take my favorite.
1. The universe exists.
2. The universe had a beginning.
3. How could it have sprang into existence out of nothing?
3.1 The Big Bang is part of the universe, so don't say the Big Bang.
3.2 Time also began with the universe.
4. We've laid that out now. Based on this data, we can infer that the cause had to be outside of time.
5. This cause is called God.
5.1 The definition of God is: The infinitely perfect creator and sustainer of the universe.
5.2 The definition of God is not: The Magic Gumball Machine in the sky.
5.3 Create means to bring into existence out of nothing.
5.4 Sustain means to keep in existence.
6. Not exactly proof, but isn't it a little odd that the universe seems so fine-tuned?
6.1 This is not direct proof of God's existence, but it's a sign.
7. Even if the universe always existed, that does not eliminate the need for God.
7.1 If the universe existed infinitely into the past, anything could have happened, including ceasing to exist.
7.2 That has not happened.
7.3 The universe would need to be sustained.
7.4 The sustainer is God.

The burden of proof does not rest on my shoulders. There is zero evidence that god DOES exist. Therefore, my stance, the scientific stance, is already in the right. And yes, evolution is my explanation for life. Look up the definition. Perhaps read, The Greatest Show on Earth, by Richard Dawkins. I have read the bible, and many, many more theological texts. But I've also read books like, The Descent of Man and the Origin of the Species, by Charles Darwin. I find it much easier to accept the empirical evidence of thousands of years of combined experience from countless scientific minds over the teachings of a bronze age desert tribe that believed the earth was flat, disease was caused by lack of Faith, and bats were birds, though we now know.them to be mammals. Right there, I've listed three inaccuracies, and i haven't had to go further than the first few pages of, Genesis. This doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the moral horrors that are not only found in the bible, but celebrated as the word god. Kill every man, woman, child, woman with child, and animal found to reside within the land of Canaan, but save those women who have never known a man, for these you can keep for.yourselves. that's in exodus. So, now we can add genocide and slavery to the list of things found in the good book.

Do you cut your hair or trim your beard? Leviticus tells me you're going to Hell. Ever worked on the Sabbath? Going to Hell. Worshipped a false idol? Hell. And I don't think that only applies to golden calves. You're favorite football team, NASCAR driver, or fill in the blank as you wish would be considered something held up.in idolatry. And is the Sabbath sat or sun?

I used to argue that the bible maybe wasn't the word of god, but a moral guide to help.further civilization. Then i actually read it, and saw all the things that are conveniently left out of modern religion because it doesn't suit their needs.

Two last.points. one, you DON'T have to believe in god to be a good person. Two, if you so readily dismiss the gods of other cultures and religions, you're as much of an athiest as I am, I only go one god further.

God indeed created freewill, the will to choose one's beliefs. It's a test of faith not fortitude as you speak. The Holy Bible speaks truth to me as it does and has to millions of people. There is but one God, the Creator of all thing's and judge of all things. I anticipate Jesus Christ to return for his elect very soon and I only hope and pray that you are encouraged to seek truth, through faith in Jesus Christ!

And if either of you know any thing about the bible. You know that it is wrong to argue the bible. You all are in the relm of sinners. If you cause a lesser sinner to question his christanity then you have also committed a sin. So what are you both doing. I had a teacher of science tell me once that she taught evloution because that is what she was required to teach but she believed in creation. So even though you believe you something doesn't mean you can't except anothers belief. You need to step back and look at what you are telling others here by arguing this point. Make your statement and leave it alone.

Yes, it can be proven but when someone has a closed mind as you do that person will never admit to being wrong. The only way for you to know if God exists will probably be when you stand infront of him on Judgement day. Maybe you will accept as many do at the last minutes of your life. If you really open your eyes and examine all you have said and done when you asked for something maybe you will notice that your request was not answered the way you wanted it to be answered. Maybe a new option was opened to you. Remember God helps thoses who help them selves, he does not answer begging.

Please the bible is a good book to follow but was revised by many men. Though I read the bible and believe in what I read. I am also aware that there are other books that tell of God before the Bible was written. Of course these books are also revised by man. Also each person preceives what they read differently than another. Maybe this person believes in God or a higher sprit maybe nothing. They must learn on their own it is not for us to argue what is right and what is wrong with anothers opinion. If you wish to live some one elses life please leave America this is the land of the free to live our lives as we wish not how some one else wants us to live our life. Including, gays, lesbions (sp?), non-belivers etc. they must answer for thier lives as we must answer for ours. Let persons live thier lives and allow them to learn in their own way.

I pray for Nicholas county. I'm glad I got out, I do hope that the lost find God. I'm not here to argue whether or not he exists. I just want the place that I once called home to be free of the devils clutches and the dark cloud of evil be gone. You cannot argue about all the evils in that area alone. I know God exists, if you want evidence just breathe. That's all the evidence I need. Like I said I'm not here to argue, just to send my love through Jesus.

Ranger Bill Thank you for the topic and the witness. I agree with you but I also have to agree with ANSWER and Beenthereforevergone. You are casting pearls before swine when arguing with skeptix and the other like minded. It is up to each individual as to what they believe all you can do is simply offer them what you have found through your words, actions, and happy, joyous life. Then pray they come to want what they see in you.
We have all been put here through the grace of GOD and we have all been offered the gift of eternal life. However there are many who will choose not to take this free gift but instead will choose to go another way. The reasons are as many as there are people.

so you say we evolved and we are now eating what we came from I don't think so look around what do you see nothing but design and design don't evolve my house just did not pop up on its own some one built it and a tree it came from a seed and grew to be over 100 feet tall and if it all falls in to evolution how did the honey bee figure out the hexagon is the strongest shape to hold all that honey if he had made I'd round it would have broke fell on him kill him and them their would be no more honey bees God designed all the things in and out of this world it is just that simple

I believe in God !! There is so much proof that he exists , the very breath you take, should be all the proof that you need, because the next one is not promised to you or me, personally , id rather be safe than sorry and believe that there is a God, than to stand before him on that day and have to say that i never believed!!!!

I have more than enough evidence of the creator, God. I believe with my entire heart, my entire being that God is the Father. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ (God incarnate) here and he took our sin. He paid our sin debt that we would live eternally. Jesus Christ is Lord and will be for all eternity. Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. Please forgive me, Father I forgive those who persecute me. Reach into my heart and make my path straight. Father I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made, his shed blood at Calvary. That he arose from that borrowed tomb and went back to Heaven, Amen, Amen. I encourage you to pray, pray for family, children, our country, and even our enemies. There is so much to say about the Lord Jesus Christ. I will share more later. Remember God loves you and so do I, God Bless.

I agree here. While it is no question in our minds as believers it is just as strong in others minds to believe other things. Praying is the best thing we can do and also showing Gods existence through our actions and witnessing about our own experiences. It may take years for some to see and only moments for others.
