It was the eighteen year old step-son. He did not make it.

I understand that the step son (dead guy) was attacking Carl. Carl was defending himself. Carl’s wife the heavyset redhead ran off several years ago with another man. Carl and she were separated.

He apparently was attacking Carl because Carl was beating on his mother. Brandon, the step-son was in his early 20's.

Pooh Jack) is Carl, Glen is his brother both are really great guys, couldn't ask for better men of either one of them, Carl must have been pushed into this and it is awful for both sides of the family. I know both Carl and Glen and love both of them to death, please remember both famlies in your prayers. It is an awful thing that has happened and is a very sad thing .and before things get out of hand everyone needs to get the facts straight because rumors can hurt on both sides.

It is hard to trust anything that is said on here and as far as him beating his wife almost to death that is a BLANTIN LIE he hit her one time and that is it and if you were really a doctor then you would know better than to spread these lies and to be honest you shouldn't spread lies anyway especially about something you know notyhing about. these young men had threatened Carls life and he was defending himself plain and simple so leave it alone. why is it people have such a feeding frenzy of of someone's pain.If it don't concern you then stay out of it.

he hit her hard enough to be sent to the hospital, the news showed her walking out with her head wrapped up. And if someone hit your mother wouldn't you go and confront them?

BRANDON MICHAEL PEACE
(1981 - 2009)
Mr. Brandon Michael Peace, 27, of New Tazewell, TN, formerly of Trosper, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at his home. He was a son of Stanley Peace and Anna Lisa Cole born on December 15, 1981 in Barbourville.

Mr. Peace was a self-employed barber and a member of the Dewitt Baptist Church. He served his country in the Kentucky Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He united in marriage with Gail Dugger and to this union a daughter was born. Later, he united in marriage with Shaunna Roark and to this union a daughter was born.

Survivors include his wife, Shaunna Peace of Trosper; two children, Alyssa Peace of Corbin and Bralynn Peace of Trosper; a step-daughter, Haven Roark of Trosper; two sisters, Jessica Urgelles and husband, Arturo, of Lexington and Anna Peace of Barbourville; a brother, Stanton Peace of New Tazewell, TN; two step-brothers, Robert Dunaway and wife, Selina, of Wheeler and Donald Dunaway and wife, Heather, of Ft. Thomas; grandparents, George and Norma Logan Peace of Kayjay and Freddie and Adean Johnson Cole of Dewitt; a step-great grandmother, Mildred Johnson of Middlesboro; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, May 29 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Josh Collins, Brandon Griffith, Russell Stamper, Travis Peace, Chris Peace, Robert Dunaway and Mitch Matlock. Serving as an honorary bearer will be his uncle, Michael Peace.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
