Four now in custody for Crab Orchard area slayings

Two Cumberland County men are dead, the result of a robbery plot gone terribly wrong, and four people are now behind bars with the last suspect arrested in Roane County Monday night.

These four took two great lives.I have known Keith Patton and his family most of my life,and you could not ask for a more kinder , helping ,caring and giving family.Keith was my friend , my brother and son`s god father along with his brother which passed away in March.I hope these four relize what they did and how they took someone`s uncle,brother,family and friend to many,many people.whether he meet you today or known you all your life if he meet you , you were instantly a friend.He never meet a stranger and never forgot you no matter how long it was before he saw you again.Keithie you are sadly miss by all.ride cowboy ride

I agree, with the above person. Although I wasn't as close to Keith as I felt to Lynn, I thought they both were awesome men. If you were broke down on the side of the road, both of them would drive you to the parts store & then take you back to your vehicle where they would repair it themselves. You couldn't ask for men with bigger hearts. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. Lynn was so kind to me when I was going through my divorce and he kept telling me to keep my head up & that I was doing the right thing. He was friends with my ex too & he told him what a mistake he had made in losing his family. I wish all the remaining family members well, especially A.J. Your Dad & Keith both were & always will be so proud of you.

The people who did this terrible thing to Keith & his friend should have to look at pictures of bothe families every day. They should be forced to watch family movies or see photo albums or anything that would make them think about what a horrible thing they did. If they needed money so badly, all they had to do was ask Keith. He would help anyone he knew if they genuinely needed it. These people will get whats coming to them maybe not here on earth but as they rot in hell.

Unfortunately, making these animals look at pictures of the victims everyday will have little affect on them. None of them has a heart or conscience. They need to all be put to death immediately and not left to sit on death row for years at the taxpayers' expense.
