...and yellow jackets will chase you down. I've been attacked as I ran away after accidentally disturbing a nest. They literally followed me stinging me on my face and neck. Relentless, nasty little creatures, and lethal to those allergic to bee stings and the like.
I have known folks who were stung once or more times when they were young and faired okay though it...it seems though as one grows older the treat of those small things that happened during our childhood suddnely can become life-threatening issues. Sometimes only one sting can do it. But certainly an attack of a multitude of bees, wasps, yellow jackets, etc. could be death threatening to almost anyone.
The noise of a lawnmover stirring up a nest is becoming more and more common in this area...but common things can attract bees of all sorts...one that my mother found to be annoying was regular ladies' hairspray...the scented kind especially. Bees would fly around her head when she came home from the beauty shop...and she concluded it was the
fragrant scent of the hairspray. If you notice something like this...beware...you might request the hairdresser to only use unscented hairspray or else no hairspray at all...It's better than being attacked by those pesky insects and risking your life!

<quoted text> Sorry again. Had to go to work. Even at my age I have learned that there is more to a relationship than "shaking the sheets" You see my boyfriend who will be 50 this year has had 4 heart attacks. He has Lupus and before he was diagnosed 5 years ago he did not know that heat could not live or work in extreme heat. He lived in Florida and worked driving bulldozers, and backhoes on construction sites. Well this lead to his heart attacks and of course they thought it was inherited. When we got together that is when he found out. So the whole time we have been together we have known that he could pass on at anytime.
Never apologize for going to work. Work is a good thing. Believe me , retirement is not all that exciting, that is why I spend so much time looking at this screen. Tell your old man to take his meds and make liars out of the doctors. My doctor had me in the grave 10 years ago. Still here, still kicking. As for the passing anytime, that applies to all of us.

I just make sure that I always have time with my kids. As for his meds. I hear him walking from two rooms away he rattles so loud. Can't sneak up on me. Work days are longer but more enjoyable in new location.
