If you check statistics for crime, the incarceration rate for immigrants is one-fifth of that for citizens. If that does make sense to you, it means that immigrants are five time more law-abiding that American citizens. Ironic isn't it?

Legal immigrants are great for America. They do have a lower incarceration rate than your average American and are hard working, honest people, hence the fact they legally immigrate here. It is the illegal ones that are the great concern. Among them are the criminals, terrorists and drug traffickers who couldn't legally immigrate here in the first place and completely disregard American laws. The US Border Control notes on its website that an estimated 30% of the 2 million prisoners in the nation’s prisons are illegal aliens. Maybe the laws do need to be changed in order to make it easier for people to legally immigrate here, but there is still no excuse for letting criminals and terrorists sneak across the border unrestricted. The borders need to be secured and all illegal aliens need to be kicked out and go to the back of the line and come in legally.

If you're talking about "USborderpatrol.com " you will see at the top of the page that it is not a government page, but run by 'supporters' of the border patrol, ie, people who believe themselves when they say stuff like that.
Anyone who has even been locked up would know that it can't be anywhere near 30%. Not even in the Valley, and the Valley has the highest per capita incarceration rate of Latinos in the US.

There's some government statistics. In prison, they don't just not count people in the stats if they have no prisoners. According the the US government, immigrants have an incarceration rate of 1/5 of citizens. Get the facts straight.
