From the damage and the TW story, it appears the Intrepid turned left in front of the Ford Edge.

We'll see what our great TPD does on this one. Probably no citation issued. Too bad someone lost their life.

The people in his accident are my family. Two of my family members are still in the hospital at this time. Bryan Marrs is my uncle, whom is missed more than I can begin to say. He is a wonderful uncle to me. I love him so very much. My prayers are with all who were in this accident.

The guy in the Ford Edge that did run the red light had killed someone before, 5 years ago--dui then (maybe this time too). He didn't do any time then but I hope and pray they make him pay for it this time.

The man killed was Bryan Marrs, I don't know the name of the murderer yet.

If you do not know the name of the driver (murderer as you put it) how do you know he had killed someone 5 years ago and had a dui? Also, was the driver intoxicated during this accident or are you just making assumptions. Very Poor Taste!

Yeah, I do know because it was my nephew he killed. No they haven't released his name but the police did give us that information at the hospital and also informed us that since he didn't have insurance--another feather in his cap--he wanted us to pay for the damage to his Edge. Too bad you think I'm pathetic.

Marrs was in the back seat of a vehicle that had turned left in front of oncoming traffic at 51st Street and Harvard Avenue and was struck in the passenger side shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Not sure Joann, since you seem to know so much more than anyone else involved maybe you can help me out here. Am I understanding the above brief, the driver of the car your nephew was in pulled into ONCOMING TRAFFIC? Nothing about a murderer running a red light or drinking and driving but oncoming traffic. Who was driving your nephew? What do you call him now? Assumptions? Again, I must say. Very Poor Taste!

You said "I don't know the name of the murder yet". How do you know that this is the same person that is was 5 years ago? How do you know he was drinking? Sorry about your nephew, but an accident dosen't warrant calling someone a murder. I would like the name of both drivers.

The vehicle his mother was driving was turning left with a green light, the Ford Edge ran his red light. Bryan wasn't wearing his seat belt as was his mother and probably wouldn't have died if he would have been. And for you to interrogate someone in mourning--very poor taste

Someone mourning shouldn't be reading this. I've been where you are and that is why I'm so interested in this.

I am not interrogating, I just believe before you start name calling, you need to have all the facts. You were not at the scene of the accident. You do not know the driver of the other vehicle. The police will do their investigation. Accidents happen everyday, to make assumptions and start name calling is in very poor taste. I do not know anyone in this accident. But, with that said I do not believe the driver that hit the car was out to Kill anyone. It was not done intentionally like someone that steals and writes bogus checks, or takes a gun and goes and pulls the trigger: that is intentional. An accident is exactly that, an accident until proven otherwise. I am sorry for your loss, but instead of casting blame and calling names on a computer chat line, maybe you should do exactly what you said, mourn with your family- that will help you heal, not calling names and casting blame. Enough said!

The fact still reamins that this is an accident and who is at fault is still not known. If it is shown that the person in the Edge either ran a red light, was drunk or even was drunk and ran the red light, someone was killed. With that said, if it is this person's fault that was driving the Edge and "IF" he got away with something similar 5 years ago, rest assured that this time around he will be sued and a price will be paid (preferrably jail time) and the costs of the funeral should be paid. Insurance or not, he needs to be held accountable for his actions. On the other hand, if it was an honest mistake and he could not avoid the accident, then he has nothing to worry about. Civil court can be a nice thing from time to time. While I can agree that someone in mourning should not be reading this because it can be brutal at times, those of you that are calling the other "pathetic" really has no sympathy at all. Take into consideration that these people have just lost someone by an accident and there is quite a bit of anger and you calling someone pathetic does not help at all. Sometimes the police tell the family more than what the papers and news ever tells the general public. In the end a life has been taken, a family is in mourning, and a person, if found in the wrong, will pay his dues.
