Prayers for the family... I am so sorry for their loss... but we are seeing more and more of this happening...is it because there are more riders... or is it because they are becoming more and more careless?

First of all those 2 people have kids and families! People make mistakes. After a comment like that you are worse than them!!! I happen to know these 2 guys and they were very decent people.

I knew one of them very well. I watched him grow up. He was special to us, my son's friend since childhood and a friend of my family in general. I am really sorry to hear about this. This family is hurting severely, our family is praying for them and my son is helping the family take care of things. Heath's parents have now lost both of their sons. Mike met Heath in Heaven when he got there. They are now sharing the past and watching the family from there. Tom and JJ also met him. He will have lots of friends there. The family does not deserve these critical statements. News articles are not always correct. Unless you were there, you don't know whether they were drinking or not. That may just be rumor. Heath does not normally drink, and if he does, not much at all and only at home. I did not know Billy well, but my prayers are with his side of the family too.

This should be a lesson for everyone... Prayers continue to go out for this family... They have to over come their grief and move on with life...I didn't say they weren't decent people...never once... everyone makes mistakes... good and bad ones... that is life... we need to try to learn something from this mistake

The whole 2 less drunks to hit me or my family head on. Whoever put that might as well just say good they are gone. What they don't understand is between these 2 men there are 13 kids. Most of them young kids. These kids was double whammied! For them Billy was there dad and Heath was their uncle and vice versa. And it's just wrong for someone to say good their gone! Yes people do make mistakes. But in all reality, it didn't say they was drunk! It said alcohol may have been involved. They could have had only one beer or a half a beer and then left. Who knows. Do we believe everything we hear in the tabloids???

Another thing a few hours before the accident, we had drove by their homes and seen Heath standing outside holding his 2 month old baby girl. And he looked like a proud father!

I can truthfully say I have never driven drunk... because I have never been drunk... I do not even drink an occassional glass of wine... so please do not lump all of us in that category...

Hey Coaster,

Define careless. Are you not careless when you talk on a cell phone, text message, read, light a cigarette while driving. Are you not careless when you run a yellow/red light, run a stop sign? The good/bad all die. You can be ever so careful and still suffer a tragic accident. You've posted on every board in here where a motorcycle accident that killed someone. What are you, ten years old? We don't know how these two died, but regardless they had loved ones that will miss them. Like you, they had Mother/Father, sisters, brother, aunts/unless, Grandparents, and/or children. Can you please just lighten up and say something postive to this family? How about, "our prayers are with you", or "I'm so sorry for your loss".

asmith,

Yes, people do believe everything they hear (until it involves one of their own). If you read these post and check out the other post of riders recently killed, you'll see the same people posting something negative, based on what they read, or assumed. Sadly, people are that ignorant and heartless. I'm very sorry for your loss. Regardless of what happened, two people are gone and family is left to carry on without them. I don't know what else to say. You could spend weeks in here disputing this and that with them, but it'll drive you crazy. Sadly, people feed off others grieve and they get some sick satisfaction from posting awful comments knowing family will read them. That's where they get their high. I know it's hard. I'm very sorry.

Hindsight
