I heard those who don't know how to spell or use proper grammar are the biggest buyers.

And those with guilty consciences are usually the first ones to throw stones. If you do not like the spelling and grammer of a post typed in the middle of the night by a worried father who could not sleep due to what his son had been telling him, then you have a lot of issues to work out. I believe the issue I posted about is far more important than the spelling and grammer used to post it. I would like to hear from someone who maybe knows this place of business and/or the people who work there. I realize that teens exaggerate to make themselves look good in front of other teens and maybe that is what this daughter was doing. For the sake of all of our teens I certainly hope so.

But what you have done has slammed a business when you are not certain the allegations are true. The first thing you need to do is conduct some fact finding and a site like Topix is not the way to do it. What if the allegations are not true? If someone believes you (and the allegations prove to be false) you may have ruined a business. If that is the case, they should sue your ass off. By the way, it is spelled grammar.

I dont think Unknown slammed a business as he admitted he did not know anyone there and was asking if anyone on here did. Someone should not be threatened with a lawsuit simply for asking a question. As bad as the drug problem is in our county every allegation should be taken seriously. If kids at the high school are talking about this then I think it should be looked in to and I applaud Unknown for reporting it instead of just looking the other way. By the way, an individual should also not be slammed for making one little spelling mistake. I mean, who honestly cares how he spelled the word??!!

Unknown, you should have contacted the police first of all about these allegations. And, for the record, AnnieBob, Unknown made several spelling mistakes!

AnnieBob, I don't disagree with you but placing something like that on Topix is inappropriate. PERIOD!

I have to agree with others. Until there is legitimate proof these allegations are true and the police have conducted an investigation posting this stuff on Topix is uncalled for.

I for one am glad that a father was concerned enough to try to get information here. It is much easier to get useful information from strangers that do not feel threatened by telling the truth anonymously, and lets face it, the police do not have the manpower to get the drugs off the street. We don't even know who we can trust anymore. I also do not care if a parent made a few spelling mistakes when his concern was for the youth of our community. We can't all have a PhD in Speeling (and yes, I misspelled that on purpose).

It doesn't take a PhD to spell correctly. That's why Mr. Webster is so popular; all those little words are inside his book. All you have to do is check it. I graduated high school and have Vo-Tech training. Whenever I'm unsure about spelling a word, I consult the dictionary. It's that simple. Doesn't require the brain of a rocket scientist. I'm a little ole swamp rat from the bayous of Louisiana!

What does being a swam rat in the Louisiana bayou have to do with anything? You're a Georgia cracker. So what? I am extremely proud of my Cajun roots. Just so you know.

I agree with Guest about Pat Forbess. Who cares if spelling or grammar mistakes are made oh this site? This is an opinion forum. This is not a college essay that people are writing for their final grade. This is merely for entertainment and personal opinions. Although it is acceptable to begin a sentence with "And", it is frowned upon by truly educated people. "Just so you know."
