I am looking for someone who would know Madisonville around, give or take, some 50 years ago. I knew an retired Railroad Engineer who build a steam locomotive and some train cars. He had a train track that ran around his yard and once in a while he would fire it up and run it around on the tracks. His name was Mr. Fletus(not sure if spelled correctly). What I am doing is trying to find out what happen to the train. My Grandfather lived across the street and when I would go my his house I would go visit the Featus's. If anybody has any information or might know of somebody who might, PLEASE let me know. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. My Grandfather's name was George Dauenhauer

I also knew him. He was best friends with my grandfather. My mom remembers spending days on his houseboat. He and his wife treat her as their other daughter and even bought a horse for her to ride when she visited. I am told one ofbthebcarsbis at the Baton Rouge rural life museum. I went there but don't know if it really his.
