Covington store owner, five teens arrested for staging armed robbery for video

A Covington jewelry store owner and five teenagers were arrested Monday night after police responded to the store where a make-believe armed robbery was being carried out and videotaped as part of a school project, authorities said.

As a mother of a highschooler, I would be very concerned if my child was arrested for carrying out an approved school project.

Well, one of the teens moms worked there and a neighboring store owner thought it was real and called the authorities.
