BP says so far, Gulf well plug isn't working

Full story: LA Daily News

A risky procedure is failing to stop the oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico, and BP said Saturday it is considering scrapping it in favor of yet another method to contain the worst oil spill in U.S. history.

Largest Oil Spill in US History. Where is the messiah? in Chicago shooting hoops and playing golf. This is the same guy who railed endlessly against Bush for being careless during Katrina. Yeah, he cares. Vote in 2010 and 2012. Get this clown out of office. Obama is a failure, a mistake and worthless

Your remarks missed Bush-Cheney, although not in office, their actions led up to this mess.

This oil spill is not going to get plugged until a relief well is drilled in August. Why is BP still running this operation haven't they done enough damage as it is? Why not call some other oil company or a coalition of oil companies, scientist and try to collect as much oil as possible until the relief well is drilled.

Why not put sand in the box before lowering it down so no crystals can form inside? Dump it out on the bottom, then place it over the hole.

The sand won't keep the crystals from forming due to the extreme cold of the sea floor. They need to have some type of circulation of hot gas or oil to keep the crystals from forming on the skin in side of the dome.

If they tried sending mud into the well, is it possible to use concrete mix instead?

Like I said, Bush-Cheney don't have clean hands either. As far as 2012, time will tell, but those running so far won't cause me to loose any sleep. Not too many in the pipe-line cause me to worry to much either. If the republicans can't come up with a moderate voice which appears highly unlikely, you'll loose. Don't discount the Hispanic vote, as they may come out and kick you in the rear-end.

It was liberal Eco freaks that are responsible ,oil companies wouldn't have to go 30 miles off shore to look for whats in our own back yard..you enviormentalcases did this ..when was the last time they couldn't plug a leak in Texas,Oklahoma,or Alaska ..stop hating the oil companies for doing what you want them to do ..its always the same thing with liberals all blame and ignore solutions..

funny you should claim that liberals are guilty of playing the blame game, yet you are doing it too. does that make you a liberal?

Don't forget to blame those "Environmentalists" you know the big lobbysists. The reason this disaster is complicated and destructive is because the environmentalists objected to drilling closer to shore. Of course, drilling close to shore has advantages. The ocean being the ocean, if there is an oil spill it's effect will resonate be it far out or close to shore, however due to where the rig was and the pipes being a mile below the water (one mile-drive it and see how far that is) it is much more complicated. So for all those wonderful envrionmentalists, who think they know better-you are to blame for stupidity. What does it tell you when they are using golf balls and mud to try and plug this gusher?

White people create all the problems like the morgage fiasco, the wars in the middle east, the economy, the unemployment, and oil spills..., then they use the media to blame the mexicans.

Everything has risk.
The risks supercede the benefits in deepwater drilling.
They shortcut the accurate disclosure of risk. All for the cash.

Good move! Show everyone here what a pervert you really are! You had to post a fake post to get your self off. Keep your kids away from this "Coach"; more like roach than a human.
