Thank you for posting. This is the first I've heard of a witness to her being kidnapped. That is haunting to me. Makes since why the detective told me he has no doubts about Mike being guilty. U r part of the proof.

I thought Michael Funk had two trials, and the second he was aquitted....So, evidence showed he wasn't the killer.

Mike funk got off because of evidence that was threw out... not because anything proved him innocent.

Thank you for sharing this. I remember the details of Jenny's murder quite vividly; I was in the same grade as she was, in the classroom adjacent to hers at John G. My family had just moved to Holman St. about 2 weeks before she was abducted. I had no idea there was ever someone who witnessed her being kidnapped! That must've been horrible for you. My mom never believed she was killed in the house she was found at; the house we moved to had been abandoned until we moved in, and had a room where the windows were boarded up. There was a huge stain in the carpet and a horrible stench. Til her death, my mother believed someone had to have died there. But there's no way to know for sure, not now. I wonder about Jenny's case all the time, wonder when she will ever get justice for what happened to her. I hope to see justice come in my lifetime.

I read the appeal and the overturn online. They threw out the case because the prosecutor screwed up, to be honest. The pictures that were shown at the trial did not indicate manner of death, so it was determined that they were used more for the emotional reactions of the court. They presented witnesses from the mother of the child he was convicted of molesting, as well as that arresting officer. Since that case was entirely different than the Jenny Iles case and did not prove that he was capable of murder, it was considered irrelevant. So basically, this guy got off on legal technicalities. His lawyer's name was Deanna Deniston......she did her job well, but I have no idea how she sleeps at night.

She has bleeding on the brain, 2 black eyes, her face is so swollen it's unbelievable. I would post a picture, but it is very traumatizing.
Sadly, the woman was probably justified in accepting her discipline, it was the right thing to do.

He was innocent until proven guilty, there was no proof of guilt so therefore the man is innocent! LOL.

This person is lieing to you flat out. Michael had 3 trials. Not 2. Michael did not drive, he couldnt even ride a bike. The bridge was under construction and it took hours just to get from one side to the other. This is a flat out lie and they know it. There was no witness, and Don Burring screwed the case up because he didnt listen to people who saw certain things. This person is a flat out lier.

just because a jury did not convict this loser, does not mean he isn't guilty. look at casey anthoney. our justice system is flawed. haven't you seen it for yourself? do you live in a cave? this child will see no justice in our lifetime, just like caylee anthoney. sad. pray for the little children, be their voice. why uphold the offenders? yet people do, mostly low esteemed supposed "women", until it happens to them. what goes around comes around!! rest in peace jenny and caylee, justice will be served.

The Casey Anthony case actually proves that our criminal justice system IS NOT flawed. State bears the burden of proof, the state lacked evidence and the accused was found not guilty. The system worked! Maybe it's your knowledge and belief system that have failed you.

And what difference does it matter if I have kids or not, Casey Anthony was not accused of killing someone else's kid, she was accused of killing her own and found not guilty. Even the bible says "render unto ceasar", so since you waived some of your free will to governemnt (ceasar), then you must also accept the fate of such a thing, LOL.
