We're looking into moving into Northern Kentucky soon and have heard Covington isn't exactly the best of places. I would love if someone could tell me which areas are okay for kids. I'd like to stick to somewhere with a low-ish crime rate, no drugs, and no hookering. Thanks!

Bellevue used to be a great little town! I raised my two older children there now that herion is on the rise and the people of Bellevue have given up it's not so great anymore! But unfortunately drugs are everywhere these days!

I was one of the 5 people if you're talking about the drug task force meeting.

yep..... I moved from Bellevue 2 yrs ago if I lived there I would have attended.. I know drugs are everywhere but it takes more than 5 people to solve it.. Parents, council members, school staff, police, the mayor and just about any citizen has to get involved. Kids need to understand that their will be real consequences to their actions and the young adults need to learn they will do time in jail.. We need real treatment facilities and not just methadone or suboxone clinics.

i know this thread started about where to move to in northern ky and someone from Bellevue refers them to a neighboring town u have to ask yourself the question why? whats wrong with bellevue? When I lived there i loved the small hometown feel evryone knew everybody we watched and cheered on each other kids in sports (mainly football). The whole town gathered for homecoming events first home games, pep rally bon fires! yep it was great!

Thanks for the input everyone. I really have no clue how Bellevue got into this, but thanks for steering me clear there!

We moved to Covington about 3 months ago and can't wait to get the hell out of here! Hopefully by December we will be out if here. The whole town as a whole is the worst in NKY! We are moving to Northern Cincinnati. Stay away from Covington, I swear.

If you're a hooker or a pillhead, then yes by all means come to Covington. If not, better stay away.

I recently moved to bellevue and have had no problems. It's a nice small town close to everything.
