I hope the mall knows they will definitely have to beef up security and improve the lighting outside parking lot . Oh boy! As it is ! There has been cars stolen and broken into a lot in 2012 and 2013. I will still keep goin to Target for all my shopping , hope you will too?

I think walmart is a great idea after that lets tear down the car dealers and put up about 10,000 sec.8 apartments that will be great for home values. Thanks again city council for all of your insight.

Since when have city council's controlled all private business within their city? Eastland is a pre-existing development. So tell me how it is that you control who goes in?

Unfortunately, there will be people that will shop and support having a walmart at Eastland. Why do they need another one so close to the one they already have on Arrow Hwy & Azusa. With Walmart at Eastland, what will happen to the Albertsons in there (the other Albertsons on Cypress & Azusa is closing)and TARGET??? I love Target and I hope they can survive. I for one will support Target and only shop there and stay away from Walmart. I too was hopeing that someday West Covina or Covina might get a Whole Foods but it seems that we are going in the opposite direction here.

Thanks council. Walmart will really improve the community. Now we can have homeless, riff raff, section 8 people, and the rest move into the Eastland Center.

You guys sure are the best and brightest from West Covina.

Hi,need some help.. I just want to ask a question about the walmart employment. I was interviewed twice by the company and finish my drug test 3weeks ago, and i called the store every week to inquire about my employment status but the personel told me that i should wait for the mail from choice before i can go back to the store. I just want to ask if how long does it take to recieve a mail from choice? Or if there is even a mail? i just want to inquire about this matter. Hoping for kind response. Thank you and God Bless..

To all those who have a problem with this Walmart and want to complain about it, why don't you do more about it and take your complaints to a City Council meeting thats where it starts! Because if you don't address it at the City Council meeting, these guys will keep on doing it their way!
