One killed, one wounded in West Covina Halloween party shooting

A gunman attacked two brothers, killing one, during a fight outside of a Halloween party on Sunday, authorities said.

There must of been thousands of parties that evening in SGV. I guess the brothers were looking for trouble or trouble found them. Booze, drugs and machismo don't mix. But then again...how can you have fun?

Kids/ teens are bringing guns to parties now and when the booze mixes in and the stare downs and idiot comes out of the drunks it is time to fight, then someone draws a gun and someone ends up killed. How many times are we reading this. Common thing now. Moms and Dads keep your kids from attending these so called parties.. You do not want that call.

There was a mid 90's black car with 2 mexicans and a girl driver. Coundnt tell if it was a four door Honda accord or nissan altima? Right behind the black vehicle there was another new model, black, four door mercedez benz c240 that was fleeing the scene right behind the first car with two black males. Both cars didnt have any tinted windows, and all suspects seemed to be gang related, and filled with tattoos.

The brothers were @ the wrong place and time, and the suspect that was murdered was taking care of a wife and two kids. azzwholes!

Lesson learned, it is unsafe to go to a Mexican party even if you are a Mexican, as the bad guys will usually show up armed and looking for trouble. Add booze and dope at these party's, and sure enough, there is going to be someone getting killed.

West Covina of late, is getting worse than El Monte.

Typical day in the life of San Gabriel Valley. I posted before the need for house party regulation by city government need to have armed security at every party with wand metal detectors and sign in sheet with id check and car license number , need legislation to stop bicyclists at night checking for paint spray devices, need to have dusk to dawn private security blanketing crime ridden areas la puente, rialto, san bernardino, pomona etc. to prevent the weird wanderers out there from committing crime. Get out of the conventional 9 to 5 mentality its a 24 hour day, act accordingly.

You may not be a gangster, but most people with tattoos head to toe are just that, gang bangers and/or low life's.
